Just keep moving.
You're fine.
Her heart was thundering in her ears as she crept past Mrs Black's sleeping portrait, shoes in her hand and her bag slung over her shoulder, adrenaline pumping through her veins as she pulled her hoodie over her head, slipping her wand up her sleeve she opened the door to Grimmauld Place and very quickly slipped outside.
She didn't hesitate to start sprinting in her socks, it would alarm anyone if they heard someone sprinting in the early twilight hours, but it's a precaution she must take if she was going to make it to Harry's, she didn't stop running until she made it to her tube station the least obvious place she would go, putting on her converse as she descended the cold rainy escalators, her socks were damp but it was a price she had to pay for sneaking out, she knew the Tube ran for 24hrs straight on saturday's and so, here she was... at three in the morning.
Ophelia stepped onto her platform, keeping her head down and her eyes alert, she didn't even dare listen to music... she was aware of how dangerous the world had become since his return, disappearances and abductions, people not turning up to work, dead bodies appearing places they had no reason to be, she also faced the danger of being a fifteen year old girl in the heart of London in the early hours of the morning, it was stupid, she knew that but Harry needed to know what was going on, he couldn't be left in the dark.
Hugging her oversized washed out black denim jacket around her frame she stepped onto the tube car as it turned onto the platform, preferring to stand rather than sit down, she had more manoeuvrability standing, easier to escape if she needed to.
Wiping her nose free of the dribble of blood, she ignored the dark shadows crouched facing the corners of the cart, they hadn't noticed her, good, her focusing on making herself invisible to them, well at least for now, she was concentrating on keeping it up until she found it necessary to let her guard down again.
Given her experience the previous evening, she was incredibly cautious of doing so.
Though, she had good news.
Her mother was by her side, as was James and Lily.
She smiled at the thought, they'd been around this whole time? Guiding her? Helping her?
She imagined they might have something to say about her sneaking out in the dead of night, while Sirius slept in a chair pulled next to her bed, assuming she was asleep for the whole duration of the dreamless sleep Snape had put her under, but she had woken up at around midnight to the sound of someone scribbling.
Sirius writing a letter.
From there, all she had to do was wait.
He passed out just after one, and she was able to leave by two.
She hated sneaking past him, but she knew that if it were him in her shoes at his age, and it was James being kept in the dark, that he would sneak out too, and under that pretence she made it okay for her to leave semi-guilt free.
Now, she was sat in a cold car travelling from the Boroughs of Islington from Angel Station to Surrey, a good hour and forty minutes travelling, finally arriving at Woking station at quarter to five in the morning, all she had to do was make her way to Harry's house in Little Whinging.... come on now, she'd bought a map of London... all she had to do was follow it.
One step at a time, she walked towards the direction of Harry's house under the guzzling rain pouring down on her head, hoping she wasn't at all intruding on him, she was thinking of climbing into his house through a window that she would... find open. She wasn't planning on breaking and entering or anything, mindless vandalism or... luring out Vernon with a pile of sausages, Petunia with gossip and Dudley with 40 presents instead of, what? 36? Harry told her about it and she realised just exactly how punchable Dudley's face was, he was lucky he wasn't at Kings Cross to pick him up, no doubt picking on a kid half his age. Harry had told her about that too.
