I continued laying in bed for who knows how long. I never got tired though, so I must have been right about the sandwich only being tampered with.
The whole time everything was silent other than the intercom buzzing to life every now and then.
I just layed there thinking, thinking, and thinking even more.
Thinking about my life before I would ever think of something like this happening. What are the odds that I would be the one being held captive in a mental institution.
I mean no it's not as bad as the movies describe it, but it's unsettling and uncomfortable being in an unknown place around a bunch of strangers.

I then thought back to Yimani and everything she told me about this place. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, yet I still felt like there was a part of this place that I'm really not seeing. Maybe if I get the chance tonight I'll talk to her about it, if not maybe I could get Jake to give me some information.

"Nurse Cort needed in Primary Doctors office."  The intercom blared loudly, yet quickly. Everytime it comes on it makes we want to roll my eyes. Childish? Yes. Care level? None.

After what seemed like forever I suddenly had the urge to use the bathroom. It wasn't too extreme but it was definitely noticeable and uncomfortable to ignore for much longer. I sighed and stood up, making my way to the little button next to the door. After a quick push I waited patiently until the sound of the intercom illuminated throughout the room.

"Yes?" Said the same woman the last time I used it. Her voice was lazy and forced clearly showing she didn't enjoy what she was doing.

"I-um- need to use the bathroom." Casually telling her my business was kinda embarrassing as I felt by face heat up. I don't understand why they would need such an extreme security method.

She made a humming noise that sounded like she was thinking out loud before she huffed and unlocked the door. Thankful for her generosity, I reluctantly made my way out of the door and into the dull hallway.
It's funny, out of everything I was looking for earlier when I explored I never looked for a bathroom. I breathed out lightly an shook my head from my ignorance.

I made my way down the hallway, looking at the numbers on the door and the occasional janitors closet. Some didn't have a number, but obviously I know those wouldn't be a bathroom.

Couldn't they at least have bathrooms connected to the room?

I heard a sudden loud wail come from a specific room that made me jump as I walked by. The hairs were standing up on my arms as my breath hitched in my throat.

Every time I walked alone in the hallways of this place it was like exploring a maze; everything looks the same and it's almost never ending. It's like there's so much of this place and I've only scratched the surface of truly knowing what this place is like.
Things about it just didn't feel right, and the rules and procedures taken here just seemed like too much and the employee's were either suspicious or didn't believe a word I said.

My mind switched over to Yimani and how it seemed like she was starting to understand. Even if she did could she even do anything? If this place is supposedly the best facility in the world then surely it would take more than just someone's words to get me out, otherwise I'd be out of here by now. I didn't mean to sound like a let-down to myself, but I'm trying to be reasonable about the whole situation.

After what seemed like forever I eventually found a room that read nurse's lounge; surely there's a bathroom in a lounging area. I listened closely if I could hear any voices, which I didn't, and slowly pushed the door opened. Even if someone was inside I might be able to explain myself and why I'm out in the first place.

I breathed out a sigh of relief as I noticed no one was inside. The room was small and cozy aside from being the lounge of a creepy institution. There was a sink within the counters against the wall with matching cabinets above. Two vending machines sat in the corner, one for snacks and the other for soft drinks; creating a peaceful glow. It's a shame I don't have change with me.
I walked past a medium round table in the middle of the room, noticing a bowl full of fruit at the center of it. This is definitely the place to go for a snack or lounging.
Thankfully I found a bathroom in the corner across from the vending machines, and didn't hesitate making my towards it.
It looked like a normal small bathroom in a hospital, apart from the small butterfly nightlight plugged into the socket.

I quickly walked in and started doing my business. After I was done I washed my hands and began for the door before I heard the heavy lounging door open. Embarrassed and not wanting to get caught, I placed my hand away from the door and stood next to the door, listening intently.
I heard two nurses giggling and talking about something, yet I couldn't hear exactly what they were saying.
Panic set in as I heard one of the voices get louder, only to hear change jingling. I breathed out a sigh of relief as I heard the change being dropped into the vending machine right across from the door; before the sound of one of the soft drinks dropped harshly to the bottom behind the large flap.
I tried listening the best I could; one of them sounded younger while the others sounded older like she was in her late thirties or early forties. Their voices switched constantly from quiet to loud and quick to slow, almost like they were talking about gossip or something. I waited patiently until they took their business elsewhere before exiting the bathroom back into the lounging area.
Trying to think smart, I waited a few minutes to make sure they were completely down the hall before I left the nurse's lounge; not wanting to run into another mishap.

As I began making my way down the hall the intercom blared loudly throughout the whole building.

"B-wing may now have free leisure."

Doors began to open up much to my dismay, and different women began to leave the doors around me. They all made their way down the same hall I was walking down so me being me, of course I started to follow them.
Some of them mumbled, other wailed; it was like a group of female walking zombies making their way down the asylum.
We went down the hall and made a few turns until we reached a big room I didn't recognize.
Inside there was a large t.v glued to the upper right corner with a few chairs and sofas adorning it. There was a table for cards in the middle of the whole room, and on a small table by the door what looked to be stacks of cards and bored games. The creme colored carpet made the room a little more homey than the rest of the building and the matching brown curtains hung against the wall topped it off. We all began forming a line towards a booth that was positioned on the far wall; a small woman waiting patiently with an annoying smile plastered on her face. I looked around in confusion not understanding what we were doing until I looked up at shortening line.
About eight people ahead of me I noticed the woman giving them a small container with what looked to be pills inside. They took the containers and walked off with them, afterward going to the small water fountain on the left wall before knocking them back and swollowing them down.
Nervousness set in as there were only three women in front of me. Obviously I wasn't willing to take random pills but I have a feeling there will be consequences if I don't.
By the time it was my turn I just stood in front of her, not really knowing what she wanted me to say. She stood there as well, the stupid smile still stuck to her face before she asked for my name.

"Why does it matter to you?" I rebeled. Her smile widened, noticably getting more and more fake.

"I need to know your name so you can take your medicine." She spoke almost like I was a child not listening to their mother. It was pissing me off.

"What if I don't want your medicine?"

"Then we'll have to get the doctor of course..." She knew she had the upper hand and the sky smirk she flashed proved it. I don't plan on looking at the doctor anytime soon, but I also ain't too keen on taking their 'medicine'.

"Alright then...it's Camp. Destiny Camp."
