"Ms. Camp, would you like to share?" The 'specialist' spoke with a high pitched voice lacing fake concern.

"I'll pass..." Her thin lips pressed together in agitation as I repeated it once again like I did the other times.
She cleared her throat and spoke, except it wasn't as nice as it sounded before she targeted me.

"Are you sure? I won't have to get the doctor will I Ms. Camp?" All pairs of eyes were on me as I wanted so badly to beat her with the clipboard her manicured fingers were currently holding.

I scoff in annoyance and swipe my tongue across my top lip.

"Fine. What was the question." It sounded more like a statement than a question since I didn't wanna sound the slightest interested in their stupid group share.

"We were just talking about forgiveness. If you have any grudges or any memory of someone doing you wrong and it still bothers you to this day then please share; the goal of today is to forgive and forget and move on with your life without dwelling on negative reinforcement."

How the hell am I supposed to do that?
What if I just make something up??

"Uh-i-um..."

"Take your time Ms. Camp."

"M-my boyfriend cheated on me." I felt my face burn red with embarrassment from the lie.
The specialist sighed in pity and gave me a look of sympathy.

"You are so strong to have been able to share that with us. We're all very proud of you, aren't we girl?" Small claps were heard around the room as I looked around at them questionably.

"Now that you've completed the first stage it's time for you to make your way to the moving on stage; please continue to share your story."

"Uh-I-I don't know, it's kinda hard to tal-"

"Ms. Camp, remember what I said...." Her stern gaze matched the sterness in her voice.
Feeling myself buckle under pressure I could hear my heartbeat through my ears and feel my body break out in cold sweats.

"Um, h-he cheated on me...with my best friend...on our anniversary." More and more lies strung from my lips and I couldn't help but feel guilt knowing Sam would never do that anyways if I did have a boyfriend.

Earning looks from sympathetic girls I hoped that my story was enough for all the questions. To my relief, the woman with the clipboard squinted her eyes and smiled lightly before she began writing some things down.

Write whatever you want...doesn't bother me any....

"I think we're done today girls what do you say, hmm?" After earning some nods and agree's she picked up her bag on her side and grabbed her coat as we filed out of the room and back into our rooms for lunch.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Hope you ladies are hungry." James's voice fills the room as he brings in the two trays full of medicated food.
Neither of us chose to speak as we stayed on our respectful sides of the room; small talk with James not sounding interesting in the slightest.
Once the silence bothers him he places the trays down then mumbles something smart under his breath; Kyra of course quick to snap back.
"Care to share James? Seems like your the one that needs a groupie." A quick blow of air escaping his nose caught my attention; before he turned around and looked at Kyra.
"Don't start with me Kyra. You'd think you know better..." He trailed off as he turned back around. He kept his eyes on her before they exchanged to me, a sky smirk plastered across his thin lips.
"Enjoy your meal." With a monotone voice he then turned around and left the room; not bothering to spare a glance as his creepy vibe slowly left the room as he got farther and farther.
Questions grew in my mind from the strange exchange of words but I chose to remain quiet about a matter that doesn't involve me.
It was quiet for about fifteen minutes; neither of us choosing to speak but instead letting a comfortable silence fill the room.
"Stay away from him. He's no good." I quizzically looked at Kyra, her gaze still hidden behind her shut eyelids.
"Why exactly?" I knew there was a lot about the people of this place and who knows how much I truly don't know...
"He's no one you want to be around. Especially if your a young woman." I couldn't help but gulp at her words; not wanting to ask any further what she meant.
"He gives me a wierd feeling anyways." By now her eyes were opened and she slowly sat up while looking forward at the desk the new trays were currently sitting on.
"I think you're speaking on behalf of the whole women's section here." Her tone was on the slightly amusing side, but I could tell there was a lot under the surface. Once again in my mind I found myself frustrated with all the secrets and things that are going on that I have no absolute clue of. I can't help but constantly feel like an outsider; constantly uncomfortable in my own skin.
"Lockdown is now in affect until further notice. I repeat lockdown is in affect until further notice."
I raised my eyebrow in question from the sudden announcement.
"Uh, lockdown?"
"Yeah, they get super strict here when it comes to runaways or violence. All doors have extra supervision and are locked." Kyra stood up and stretched before she reached under her mattress and started rummaging until she found what she was looking for.
Swiftly, she pulled out a thin, old and rugged looking notebook. It was small and convenient, yet looked years old from the brown leather starting to peel off from it.
Not sparing a glance, Kyra began flipping through a few pages until she landed on a specific page with a pencil placed towards the inner seams.
"What's that?" I don't know what made me ask or why I asked; I jus got the sudden urge to wonder what the purpose of it was.
She looked up at me as she started to write; a sarcastic look present on her face.
"None of your business."
Should've seen that one coming....
