"Y/n don't be nervous." Kaylee said. "How could I not bee nervous? Im meeting your best friend. She is basically your family" Y/n said in a panicky tone. "Look at me" Kaylee said bringing your face to face hers. Kaylee brought her hands to cup your face. "She is gonna love you." "How do you know?" "I know because you make me happy. And whoever makes me happy she will love because someone loves and cares for me. Ok?" "Alright." "Good. Now let's go." Kaylee said dragging you along with her to meet her friend on the beach.
Y/N POV
"Look. There right by the palm tree" Kaylee said pointing to her. As she forgot I existed she ran to her friend and engulfed them into a hug. They were laughing and giggling and I just thought about my escape plan. I mean Im scared shitless right now. Kaylee may have brought me comfort but shit. I don't feel that right now. Her brining me comfort was a moment in time. I was about to "leave" when Kaylee called me. Great. Now im going to embarrass myself in front of my gorgeous girlfriend.
"Carrie this is Y/n Y/l/n my girlfriend" Kaylee said gesturing towards me. "Hi. I would've introduced myself but she did that for me" I said. I was nervous at what her reaction was going to be but it all went away when she laughed. "Im Carrie. But you already knew that. It's nice to meet you" Carrie said. "Its nice to meet you too" I said shaking her hand. "Great! Shall we." Kaylee said pointing to the beach. "We shall" said Carrie.
Kaylee POV
After me and Y/n have been walking for sometime I saw Carrie and I went to engulf her in a hug because I haven't seen her in awhile. "Carrie!" "Kaylee!" "Its so good to see you" we both said at the same time to end up giggling afterwards.
As me and Carrie were catching up I remembered why I came here. For Carrie to meet my girlfriend. I looked around for her to be slowly walking towards us. Then I called her over. Im not gonna lie as she was walking her way over here I couldn't help but get nervous. Carrie saw this and said "Kaylee. Im going to love her ok." I just nodded because Y/n was already here.
After five minutes they really hit it off. I couldn't help but feel the weight off my shoulders being released. They hit it off so much that they left me behind. "Hey!"
Y/N POV
I was so lost in talking to Carrie that apparently we left Kaylee behind. "Hey!" Kaylee said catching up to us. "You left me behind" she said pouting. As Carrie was telling her how sorry me and her are, I put my arm around Kaylee while she nuzzled into my side. Me and Kaylee were in our own world until Carrie said "Damn you guys are cute." Kaylee just rolled her eyes and said "Yea yea yea. I know" she said getting out of my side and kissing me on the cheek.
Carrie and Kaylee were about to walk in front of me until she turned to me and said "No more lovey stuff. It's making me sad and how single I am." I just put my hands up and said "We better get you someone then" "What are you cupid?" I was about to say something but Kaylee said giggling "Not even close." Carrie then soon followed laughing. We were walking in comfortable silence until Carrie said "Y/n. Im glad you are with Kaylee. You are good for her. Not only do you have an amazing girlfriend but you have a new best friend" she said side hugging me.
I reciprocated the hug and said "Looking forward to getting to know you best friend." "What about me?" Kaylee said in a adorable pout with her upside down lips. "I don't know. Find someone else because me and Y/n are each others friends now." "Wow. Okay. I see how it is. Is this how you feel?" Kaylee said aiming the question toward me. "Uhhh. No. Sorry Carrie but Kaylee is my number one." "That's right she's mine" Kaylee said in a silly protective tone.
When Kaylee and Carrie were goofing off in front of me I couldn't help but smile.
