New Place, New Start

It has been about a month since Mina started her new job at this construction firm as an engineer. She was enthusiastic about this job because she gets to see high rise buildings and get to estimate the materials needed based on the construction plans provided.

Ever since she was small she really liked building things. She even remember back when she was in grade school, she would use cassette tapes to form a, what seemed to be, a floor plan and create rooms using it as walls. And snatching her cousin's little action figures to serve as the "people" in her own little house. She chuckled at the thought. Instead of doll house she preferred to make something on her own since she's a really big introvert, these things helped her to cultivate her mind and her creativity.

Anyway, back to the present,

Four in the afternoon, her phone reads. If it's just an ordinary day, Mina would've hurried her way out of work to go back to her rented apartment and let her bed swallow her tired body but... It's not.

Today is the day that she's been waiting for a couple of months now. Feeling excited and giddy at the same time, she reached her bag and pull out her make up kit and retouched a bit. One of her workmates called Irene saw her and asked in a teasing way "Out for a date, Minari?"

She just chuckled as a reply that made the other girl smile as well.

As she finished, she bid her goodbye to her workmates and typed in her phone. "I'm almost there."

A couple of minutes after, she reached the said place and informed the other person she's seeing that's she's already there. Then a call came and she hurriedly picked up.

"Hey, where exactly?" The other side asked.   Mina giggled. "Right, I'll take a pic of the place. I'm not really familiar in here. Wait a sec." She then hang up and took a pic of the place and sent it with a little message, "Here. Find me" with a little cute smiley attached at the end.

After this, she received a call. "I think I see you now." The caller said and Mina was so nervous that she started to keep glancing every side hoping to see the caller too. "Where exactly are you? I can't seem to see you." She said while hearing the caller giggle.

Mina kept glancing to people passing by but still no clue of where the caller was. Her heart was thumping faster every minute. She's starting to get anxious by knowing that the caller has already saw her.

"Turn to your left. By the pedestrian." The caller said and she slowly did. There she saw a girl mimicking her action, one hand on her ear with her phone and brimming a bright smile. Mina thought that the girl was glowing as she slowly approached her with her bright smile and cool aura.

The girl was wearing a blue checkered top with the buttons opened and ripped skinny jeans with her glasses. Mina can't help but be in awe as the girl is slowly approaching her. "Beautiful", The one word that kept coming to her mind as she kept on staring at the girl.

"Mina!" The girl waved as she crossed the pedestrian and for some reason it felt like  cat got Mina's tongue for she can't utter a word in about 30 seconds.

She snapped out of it after seeing the other girl smiling lovingly to her with her eyes shimmering brightly like the sunrise and by then Mina thought she's falling for this girl all over again.

Just as beautiful in person....
