Chapter IV- Looks and Her Insecurities

When we arrived in the dorm I immediately hopped on my bed. Staring at the ceiling and holding on to my beating heart.

Why did you have to send a cute picture like that, Chaeng? Ackk!! You're so cuteeee.

I was internally screaming while clutching my pillow so hard when...

"Hey, Mina. You owe me a story~ Spill." I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't notice Jihyo sitting on my bed. I immediately sat up and hugged the pillow even tighter. I'm gonna have an interview for sure.

"So care to tell me already?" She once again asked me.

I inhaled deeply and composed myself as a started telling her the story.

"Uhm, So uhh... There was this app it's called writer's pen and I uhmm... I was writing a story there and I somehow knew this person through that app and we are talking for like a week now." I felt like I was a rapper when I said those. I'm so nervous.

I don't know what will her reaction be and I'm too nervous to look at her so I hung my head low then I heard her chuckle.

I looked at her and saw her smiling at me. I was confused and the look on my face seemed to deliver the message.

"I'm glad you have a platform where you can express yourself, Mina. That's really good. I mean review's been pretty stressful. Atleast you have something you can divert your attention from time to time." She said that made me calm down a bit.

"So tell me, is the guy cute? Do you have a picture?" She continued sounding so excited.

Of course she'll assume it's a guy.

"Uhh.. h-he hasn't sent me one. I also didn't ask." I said.

"Oh? You should see his face, Mina. Who knows he could be a potential lover, right?" She said wiggling her eyebrows and teasing me.

"Jihyo!" I said embarrassed.

"What? It could happen." She said that made me blush even more.

"Okay, okay. I won't tease you anymore. Just be careful with that, okay? Remember focus on the board exam for now. Guys can wait." She told me as she headed for the door.

"Where are you going? Aren't you gonna review?" I asked her.

"Maybe later. I'll go watch some TV shows for now. Momo's been laughing hard outside. I'm curious. Come out if you like, okay?" I nodded as she made her way out the room.

I feel so guilty right now. I'm sorry, Ji. Soon I'll tell you. I just need to have some more courage...

Chaeng:
Hey. I'm already here at my student's house.

Me:
Cool. You managed to find the place.

Chaeng:
Yeah. They fetched me on the bus stop. Hehe

Me:
Okay. Enjoy there, Chaeng.
Btw, you look pretty on your photos.

Chaeng:
Oh yeah 😅 thanks.

Me:
I'll send you one soon. I'm just not ready now.

Chaeng:
That's fine.
Take your time, Minarii

Me:
Btw, we're gonna visit a church tomorrow.
It's a known church here so we're gonna visit.

Chaeng:
Oh that's cool. You should go early then?

Me:
Yeah. Since it's like a five-hour ride.

Chaeng:
Alrighty. Take care tomorrow.

Me:
Thanks.

"Mina, the boys wanted to buy some food for tomorrow. Wanna come?" Sana asked.

"Sure. I need to buy some chips for the ride too." I said.

"Alright. Let's go. It's getting dark already." She replied.

I heard the place is like a palace and it's so big. I can't wait to see it and send Chaeng some cool pictures...
