Chapter III- Feelings and Confusions

It's been a week since me and chaeng have been chatting with each other. We find it hard to talk on the app because of log problems so we decided, five days ago, to talk on a separate app called WeTalk.

I am currently sitting on the lounge area of the boarding house watching some local TV show. Today's review was quite easy so I took some leisure time by watching a local TV show.

I remembered Chaeng said she's gonna have a meeting so I decided to chat her and told her about what I'm doing. I don't expect a reply but after a minute she did.

Chaeng:
Hi Minari. We have a meeting right now. Guess what.

Me:
What is it Chaeng?

Chaeng:
My ex is here too.

Me:
Oh really?

(I don't know why but somehow it triggered me.)

Chaeng:
Yeah

Me:
Just don't mind her. Just focus on me.

I don't know where I get the courage to say that. After she told me about what her ex did it somehow angers me. I felt like I needed to protect her. Care for her. I don't know why though. She's someone I don't personally know but whenever I talk to her I feel so happy.

Am I falling already?

Nope. This can't be. I've just known her for a week. I don't even know what she looks like.

"Hey Mina, let's go out for a bit. Ice cream?" Sana asked me.

"Yeah sure. Let's go invite Momo and Jihyo too." I said.

"Strawberry for me. Why about you guys?" Jihyo asked.

"Chocolate for me!" Sana and Momo said in unison that made me chuckle. These two really love chocolates.

"I'll have vanilla, Ji." I got a nod from Jihyo and handed her my money.

While waiting for our order, we talked about the review and how we're nervous about it.

"We have two months more to review my head is already full of formulas and to think that it's just math now makes me go crazy guys. I don't think I'll have a space for the other two subjects anymore." Momo said.

"Eyy. Just master the basics Momoring. We don't know what will come out so let's just hope that whatever we're reviewing now will come out. It's scary but let's just study and pray. We can make it guys." Worry is written on Jihyo's face but at the same time hope is seen in her eyes. She was always the optimistic one out of the four of us and that's what I like about her she always encourage us to do our best.

I chatted Chaeng while we wait for the ice cream. She told me she's still on that meeting and she can't wait for it to end.

Me:
I'm out with my friends. Ice cream

Chaeng:
Oh cool. May I see?

Me:
Huh?

Chaeng:
The ice cream

Me:
Oh okay. Later hehe
