Clashed destinies

Krishna is here

"What has happened? Why do you look so worried?" Radhama asked Karn. Karn seemed very restless and nervous.
Karn didnt reply but smiled reassuring his mother that every thing was fine.
He did not know what to do. This girl had her forehead filled with his sindoor. She was unofficially his wife. What was he supposed to do? And what about Vrushali?

"We have to postpone the marriage in this situation. The wedding pyre's fire has extinguished and this is a bad omen. We have to search for the next date of marriage." The panditji cried.
"But there is no date of marriage for the next three months. How can we postpone the marriage for such a long period?" Vrusbali father expressed his concern.
"There is no need to postpone the date. I dont believe in bad omen and all. I will marry Vrushali today only." Karn found himself saying and a big part of him felt extremely guilty from hiding the sindoor incident from everyone but that surely didnt mean anything.  Did it? Whatever ot was he was trying to avoid it.  That was the reason he wanted to marry Vrushali as soon as possible.
"Absolutely not! You may not believe in bad omen  but I do! And my son will not get married when there is a bad omen visible. " Radha declared.
Karn was not happy with this decision. This will create more problems. Will the girl claim her rights when she notices the vermillion on her forehead? What will Karn do then? What will he answer to Vrushali? His mother would be so disappointed in him.

Meghna could feel the pain in her back. It seemed she was tired after a long journey.  Jet lag? But wait....wasn't this her wedding day? What had happened? She slowly opened her eyes.  She found herself in an extremely luxurious room . The bed was huge and the room was filled with paintings and expensive artifacts. Where was she? Then she started recalling her wedding day. Slowly the memories returned. Hadn't she fallen into the marriage pyre? How was she still alive and there was no signs of burns in her body. It was weird.

"You seem really confused sakhi" Meghna heard a heavenly voice. She turned around to find a man sitting on the side of her bed. She flinched with fear but on seeing the man's face she automatically calmed down. There was something about the man which indicated that she was safe around him.
His heavenly smile indicated he was trustworthy.

"Who are you?" Meghna asked a little calmer than earlier.
"Well the question is who are you sakhi? You are Meghna from the kaliyug but was kaliyug really the right place for you? You have suffered a lot in your life in kaliyug amd it is time that you start your new life in dwapar yug. Welcome to dwapar yug Meghna" The man said in a way as if it was the most normal thing ever.
"What do you mean? I cant be in dwapar yug! Good joke by the way! Which set is this? This is lavish. And how much has Virat paid you to act . And which character are you playing anyway? From the peacock feather and heavenly smile it seems you are playing lord krishna. You look really heavenly." Meghna said.
Krishna smiled to her words.
"What are you smiling at? Where is everyone? Virat? Sharmila aunty?" Meghna called out for them.
"Do you really want to meet those people again in your life? I wouldn't if I were you." Krishna said meekly.
Meghna looked at him strangely. How did he know her thoughts? It was true that she didnt want to see those people again. But how did this man know about this?
"I know a lot about you. Actually I know you more than you know yourself " The man cried.
Can he read minds, Meghna thought as she looked at him with surprise.
"Well that question is for you to answer. But for now I am here and you have to believe me Meghna. I am Vasudev Krishna from the dwapar yug and you are in the dwapar yug" the man cried.
Meghna didnt know what to say. Was it a big joke or was destiny laughing at her? How is this even possible but when he again looked up to see Krishna she saw the vishnu avatar of krishna and light emitted from his body . He looked so heavenly that there was no way of Meghna to joy believe him.

This was true! She was no longer in kaliyug. She was no longer getting married against her will. It was good news but when she thought about this yug she couldn't help herself from shuddering. She was completely alone in this yug.
She has no friends... no family ...no guidance. She had nothing. How was she supposed to survive in this era.
"Well you have a friend sakhi. I think you are not listening to me when I am calling you sakhi. " saying so Krishna laughed heartily. Meghna couldn't stop herself from smiling. Atleast she has a friend. But wasnt it weird? Lord Krishna was her friend. But Krishna is so humble. Ofcourse he is God. He is free from pride and desires.
"You are in the mahabharat period sakhi. Do you know the story?" Krishna asked.
"Yes Krishna. I know the story . Not very well but I know the important key points." Meghna answered.
Krishna was easy to talk to.
"That's fine. You will live the tale about which you have read so much in your previous life. As of now you are in the bedroom of Angraj Karn." Krishna explained.
"Angraj karn? The great archer? And the eldest brother of pandava? He died a very painful death. I always thought he deserved better though." Meghna expressed her thoughts.
"I completely agree with you.  He does deserve better and you will change his destiny...his fate. This is your biggest task. Who is your favourite character in mahabharata?" Krishna asked.
"You ofcourse!" Meghna cried.
"You dont need to flatter me sakhi.....answer truthfully." Krishna said smiling again.
How does he know everything?!!!
"Well you are one of my favourites but my all time favourite character is Arjun. He is the best any time!" Meghna said excited.
"Hmmm interesting!" Krishna answered.
"Its time for me to go sakhi but dont worry I will always look upto you . Whenever you want my help just call me by my name and you will find me standing in front of you." Krishna said .
"But Krishna why am I in Karn's bedroom? What is my future? What will happen with me in this era????" Meghna asked restless.
"Well that's a lot of questions and unfortunately I cant answer any of them. You will have to find the answers to all your questions sakhi.  And you will be in for a surprise very soon. Check your reflection properly in the mirror" saying so Krishna vanished like a wind.
Meghna stood there motionless. What was happening? She was in dwapar yug and lord Krishna was her only friend. She was in Angraj Karn's bedroom . Angraj Karn, the rival of her favourite Arjun.
She then quietly went to the washroom. It was so huge. It was larger than her entire house in kaliyug! It has to be a palace. Angraj Karn! So she was in Ang palace. She was going to wash her face when she notice something. Vermillion! Sindoor! In her forehead! But she clearly remembered that Virat had not yet applied Vermillion when she fell into the marriage pyre. This cant be applied by Virat. Or was it? How was her forehead filled with sindoor? Does that mean she was married. Now Krishna's words made a lot of sense.
