Escaped

"Can we trust Duryodhan Jyesth?" Bheesm asked skeptical about their recent ally. Duryodhan and Arjun were in another chariot. Nakul and Sahadev stayed back with the mothers. Karn and Krishma were in another chariot. There were heading towards Gandhar.
"I saw repentance in Duryodhan's eyes Bheem. Moreover Meghna is Duryodhan's sakhi. I feel he really wants to help this time." Yudhisthir added somewhat confident about his thoughts.
IN ANOTHER CHARIOT
"I am an idiot." Karn said.
"Exactly! How could you not realise that your wife was in love with you Bhrata?!" Krishna said teasing him.
"She always...I mean she said she...she was married" karn added.
"And you knew you were the one who applied vermillion on her forehead!" Krishna said.
Karn was confused. How did Govind know all this?
"I...What do you feel Govind? Is she okay? I mean is she safe?" Karn asked fear visible in his face.
"Do not worry bhrata...both my sakhi are brave. They know what to do" krishna said smiling.
Karn was a little relieved after listening to Krishna but thoughts of Meghna and Draupadi were troubling him.

IN ANOTHER CHARIOT
"Arjun...I need to do something" Duryodhan said finally gathering his courage.
"You are not going to kill me right. Dont tell me this was a part of your plan cause for the first time We have trusted on you" Arjun said looking at him doubtfully.
"Its no that...I had to apologise...I never wanted to kill you all. Infact Karn amd I got to know later that this was the plan
Karn was adamant that we needed to stop the varnavrat incident
I agreed with him. I wanted the kingdom but I didnt want to kill you all. But by then you all were ... I mean news of your death reached us. I felt guilty and today again I apologise to.you on behalf of my brother. He doesnt know what he is doing. Meghna and Karn are my only friends and if they are your family then you too are my family" Duryodhan added.
"Bhrata we were family all along. I still call you Bhrata and you still call jyesth Bhrata. Blood is thicker than water. We all are brothers. We dont want any kingdom. We were extremely hurt when you tried to kill us. We decided we would never return. Bhrata if you are really sorry for what happened then I am ready to forgive you" Arjun said giving him a genuine smile.
"You shouldn't! I had tried to kill you anuj!" Duryodhan said .
"As you said I am your anuj and you are my Bhrata. Well we need to forgive each other someday. The sooner the better." Arjun said.
Duryodhan was shocked. Why was he ever so hostile towards the pandavas?! They were the kindest souls he knew. He would help them in all needs and no matter what they are his brothers now!

"Mamashree! The spies from Dwarka have informed that Krishna and the Pandavas along with Bhrata Duryodhan are heading towards Gandhar!" Dushashan cried fearfully.
"What! But why Gandhar?! Why not Hastinapur !? That means....that means Duryodhan! That betrayer! That disgusting stupid fellow! He destroyed the entire plan ! He and his live gor that sutaputra has led to his downfall! I knew this day was coming! We need to shift the girls to somewhere else!" Shakuni said nervously.
Meanwhile Meghna and Draupadi were too weak by now. They were trying desperately to escape but no one could hear them at this place.
Suddenly a loud music was heard.
"What's that music!" Draupadi shouted jumping with fear.
"Alarm" Meghna said uninterested.
"Alarm...you have that device!?" Drauapdi asked.
Meghna nodded.
"Then contact Madhav!" Draupadi said.
"I tried. No signal " meghna said with a sad face. Draupadi's face fell.
" Wait...There is no signal but...but this phone can help us go out!" Meghna said an idea striking in her head suddenly.
A guard was always standing outside their cell. They had to escape from here. It was pure darkness in the cell.
"Excuse me...there is a creature inside!" Meghna told the guard. The guard didnt care. Meghna signalled Draupadi to act. The next moment was hilarious. Draupadi jumped up amd down shouting "There is a rat!!!" . The guard was startled . Not just that guard but all the guards around there.  Draupadi was shouting so loudly that the guards agreed to check their cell. The prisons were so dark and the areas around had no lighting so the guards were sure they wont be able to escape.
Meghna and Draupadi were brought out of the cell. Then Meghna started with her plan. She still had a saved whatsapp video of a lion toarinv in the forest. She played it and the entire cell was filled with the deadly roars of a lion. The guards were taken aback. A lion in the cell! They were shivering. All of them gather together . Megbna increased the volume.
"The cell is empty!" A guard cried and all the other guards rushed inside the cell with fear. They were safe I side the cell. Meghna couldnt believe her plan was working. Draupadi was too happy. The soldiers were too scared. Meanwhile Meghna switched on the lights and escaped the prison. They saw many chamber before them. They quickly sneaked into a chamber. The chamber was empty. And the window was open. They could jump from the window. Draupadi had never experienced so much adventure in her life before. She tried her best and surprisingly she enjoyed it a bit too much. They jumped out of the window but what about the palace guards?
That was when they heard the sound of horses. There were three chariots rushing towards the gate and in the chariots stood their family. Their husbands, their brother in laws amd their dear sakha. They ran towards the gates without any fear. The chariots stopped. The guys were surprised. Their wives were so brave. Krishna smiled knowingly. Draupadi and Arjun embraced each other lovingly. Meghna looked at Karn emotionally who within a second lifted her in his arms and pressed her head on his hard chest embracing her tightly.
"You are the girl I love. You are my first and last love Meghna" Karn whispered to Meghna. Meghna for a second coildnt believe in what she heard but reality dawned. Her dream was her reality. She felt like she was floating in the air. She wanted to be in Karn's arms forever. Karn kissed her forehead lovingly as tears flowed down his eyes. He had missed her so much.
Meghna wiped his tears and kissed his tears away. The entire world seemed to rejoice at this happy reunion. The reunion they were witing since so long. Since so many ages. Meghna and Karn  didnt know who they were but the entire heaven was aware of their identity.
"We need to punish mamasree for this heinous crime!" Duryodhan declared. The pandavas nodded. Krishna was a little serious.
"We cant! You have no proof they imprisoned us. We escaped from their prison. You didnt find us imprisoned" Meghna said sensing the real issue.
Yudhisthir slowly nodded.
"But you both know you both were imprisoned and we believe you!" Karn said with rage. Arjun nodded.Even Duryodhan nodded.
"Arya you don't get it...Mamashree will deny to such allegations and declaring war on Gandhar would hamper relations with Hastinaour" Meghna said.
"Meghna is right"  Yudhisthir said.
"What right! He kidnapped you both ...and dont worry about Hastinapur. I will handle that matter. " Duryodhan said.
"We should call it a truce this time. If Meghna and Draupadi.were imprisoned after we found them then they could've been punished but waging a war can be disastrous at this situation. Moreover its not the right time for the war!" Krishna said.
Meghna and Draupadi nodded though they would never forget the situation.
"Come back to Hastinapur. Rule Hastinapur jyesth" Duryodhan said to Yudhisthir.
Everyone were shocked. Duryodhan was giving up on the throne.
"You are forgetting something brother. Jyesth Bhrata Karn will be the king!" Yudhisthir said and everyone smiled except Karn.
"No I am not a Panduputr. I am a kaunteya." Karn said .
"And bua Kunti is the queen of Hastinapur bhrata Karn" Krishna said smiling.
Karn was reluctant but no one would listen to him. So he finally agreed. Hardly had they known what was awaiting them in Hastinapur.
