"Karn..." Meghna cried putting her consoling hand on his distressed shoulder. He didnt reply back. Meghna knew this truth was extremely painful for him to bear. Meghna herself was on a dilemma.
"Where are we going?" Meghna asked as she noticed the chariot turning in another direction. Weren't they going to Anga?
"Hastinapur" Karn spoke for the first time. His cracked voice implied how disturbed he was.
After a few more hours of painful silence they finally reached Hastinapur. Meghna wanted to console him but she knew Karn needed some privacy. He needed some isolated time to figure out the highest truth of his life.
They stopped in front of a small hut. So this was Karn's childhood home. It was not grandiose but had a homely atmosphere. Karn and Meghna got down from the chariot. They were taken aback when they saw a huge crowd of people assembled before Karn's house. What was happening? Karn quickly overtook the crowd and reached his mother.
The sight before him shook him to a different extent.
"Pitasree" was all he could whisper.
The pandavas on the other hand reached Anga and were informed by the Mahamantri that Karn was in Hastinapur. They quickly started their journey towards Hastinapur.
"I cant ever forgive myself for misbehaving with my jyesth Bhrata. I have insulted him in the worst manner possible. Will he ever forgive me?" Bheem sighed sadly.
"I have always competed against him. I have always mocked at his skills even though I knew he was superior. He always stayed calm. He forgave me. He was the best brother I could have had. I dont deserve him" Arjun replied.
All the brothers were begging taht their eldest brother would forgive them.
They reached Karn's house . The scene in front of their eyes shocked them.
Their eldest brother and his foster mother were teary eyed. Their sister in law Meghma was seated sadly beside them and a whole lot of crowd were assembled before them.
"Bhrata..." Arjun approached Karn. He was expecting an outburst. But Karn simply caressed his hair and pulled him in a hug.
Arjun was taken aback. Seeing Arjun the other pandavas were filled with envy. They too wanted their brother's love. They joined the hug and the six brothers were finally together. The heaven smiled at the beautiful vision before them. Indra , Suryadev, Yama ,Pavandev and the ashwini brothers joined hands together. Finally their sons were together. Now the dharma would take place.
"I have lost him my dear brothers. He is no longer with me" Karn muttered.
They broke the hug. The pandavas looked at him questioningly.
Then they noticed the pyre. Adhirath kaka...he was no more. Radha ma fluldnt control her tears anylonger. She started crying uncontrollably. Yudhisthir consoled Radhama. Meghna was trying her best to control herself. She knew what a noble man Adhirath was. She couldnt see her Radhama cry. She could see Karn so sad. Draupadi joined Meghna and gave her the friend's hug she was desperately yearning for.
"Mataa...please dont cry..." The pandavas consoled Radhama. Radhama looked at them and saw genuine grief and concern in their eyes. She smiled at them. They touched her feet. She felt her heart heal a little. She had revealed to Karn who he truly was. She herself didmt know that her son was royalty. Karn told her how tha pandavas were addressing him as their jyesth Bhrata.
"Maata has revealed the truth." Karn said.
The pandavas looked at him with guilt in their eyes.
"Bhrata...please forgive us. We know this is not the right time to discuss these things but Bhrata we want to share your grief. Please accept us as your brothers bhrata" Arjun said.
Karn looked at them strangely.
Bheem was crying. Noone had seen Bheem cry before. Karn walked upto them and hugged them instantly.
"I accept you my brothers. You are my brothers. And I love you guys a lot. But please dont force me to leave my Radhama. I cant disown her. Ever. She is my mother and will remain my mother forever" Karn said.
"Jow could you even have the thought of disowning your mother Bhrata Karn. You are blessed with two mothers. Dont you feel happy. When I came to know that I am the son of Devaki I didnt disown mata Yashoda. She will still remain my mother and the world will recognize her as my first mother. Whenever the world will talk about little Krishna they will talk about his beautiful relationship with his mother Yashoda. "Krishna said suddenly entering the scene.karn nodded with tears in his eyes.
Krishna simply smiled and took Radha's blessings.
The last rituals were performed . Only the closed ones stayed. The pandavas and Krishna were staying with Rdha, Karn amd Meghna.
"You have to stay with us Radhama. You cant stay alone" Karn said.
Meghna nodded.
"You three will first stay with us for some days. I beg of you. You three need a little change. A little distraction."Krishna said.
"The pandavas with their mother and Draupadi will also be staying in Dwarka. We all can share each other's grieves and happiness together. "Krishna said.
Radhama agreed reluctantly. Karn and Meghna were okay with the situation .
The pandavas were extremely happy. They would finally get some time with their jyesth Bhrata.
