"Tell me honestly...what's wrong?" Karn asked concerned. He loved Meghna and no matter how much Meghna loathed him he still cared about her.
"Its nothing!" Meghna said trying to behave normally.
"Meghna look at me!" Karn said and pulled Meghna closer. She landed on his chest her face inches away from his.
"I...feel guilty" Meghna blurted out the truth. She couldnt lie looking at Karn's eyes. She was in love with this man who was in love with someone else. And now she has ruined his life by marrying her.
Karn looked at her strangely. Why was she guilty? For betraying her lover? He never stopped her from reuniting with her lover.
"I never stopped you from leaving" Karn said not looking at Meghna once.
Meghna could feel herself collapsing. That's it! Karn wanted her to leave. Draupadi was wrong! She couldnt make Karn fall in love with her....he was already in love with someone else. She was a fool! Why was she still staying here?! She wanted to leave. She couldnt be a burden in someone's life.
"Take care of yourself Karn" meghna said and was going to leave when Karn pulled her close to him and crashed his lips against her. She could feel the passion burning in her heart. She had waited for this moment since like forever and now when this was happening she was the sadest person on earth. Karn continued kissing her passionately . He held her waist tightly and pulled her closer. Her hands reached his hair and she caressed her hair . He picked her up in his arms . She couldnt help but smile. Was this their last day together? Karn xouldnt help but admire his wife. He had ways loved her and now when this was happening he didnt want to leave her. He didnt want her to go.  He broke the kiss and looked at her strangely his eyes wet with tears. Meghna could see love in those eyes. But was that possible ? She hugged him immediately.
"Karn can I ask you a question? A final question?" Meghna asked hugging him tightly.
Karn muttered a weak yes and held her back.
"Karn who is the girl you are in love with? " Meghna asked teary eyed.
Karn didnt know how to answer that. Should he tell her that he is in love with her? How will she react? Will she leave him and return to her lover? Or would she give their marriage another chance?
"I love..." before Karm could complete his statement he heard a knock at his door. Both of them drifted apart.
"I'll see." Karn and said and went to open the door.
"Bhrataa!" Nakul shouted as soon as Karn opened the door.
"Bhraata I had some work!" He said and marched inside the room.
"Nakul!!! I told you not to disturb Bhrata at this time!" Arjun shouted entering the room.
"You destroyed the entire set up!" Draupadi scolded.
Karn and Meghna were blushing heavily now.
"Uh I font know what you all are talking about. I will go amd meet maata Kunti.  She was calling me." Karn said and slowly excised himself giving a last look to Meghna.
"Come with me!" Draupadi pulled Meghna.

"The pandavas are alive mamashree! And why is Karn staying with them is still a mystery to me! I should go and confront him right now!" Duryodhan growled angrily.
"No my son! There has to be some mystery which we are missing out!" Shakuni said still unsure what the sutaputra was doing along with the pandavas.
"There is news that Karna is somehow related to the pandavas. That's the reason he is with them" Dushshan said entering the room.
"How is that possible! This is fake news Dushashan.  Surely the pandavas are offering him a better kingdom and that's why he is helping them now!" Shakuni said.
Duryodhan just kept listening. Karn had been his only friend throughout. If Karn abandoned him then noone  would be left in his life who genuinely cared about him. All for the sake of a kingdom. Was it really worth it?

"Have you seen Meghna?" Karn asked.  He desperately needed to talk to Meghna. Whatever happened between them meant something. What was in Meghna's mind when she kissed him back? There was some misunderstanding or miscommunication and he had to clear it.
"Why bhrata? What's wrong? You seem really eager to meet bhabhisree" Arjun said.
" Arjun there's something we are missing out . Meghna's hiding something from me. " Karn said.
"She is with Draupadi in the kitchen bhrata. They are performing their pehli rasoi ritual and maata has forbidden us from meeting them." Arjun added.
Karna nodded. He has to wait till the night.

"So things are sorted now? " Draupadi asked as Meghna narrated the entire incident to her.
"You think so? Things are even more complicated now. I mean I love Karn but does he love me? "Meghna was so confused now.
"The food is ready! Let's go! We will see them in the dining hall. We will figure something out." Draupadi said.
Meghna nodded. They reached the dining hall. The Kauravas were already present there along with Pitamah Bheesm.
"How are you putri? It has been really long since our first meeting." Bheesm said looking at Meghna.
Meghna recalled her first meeting with Bheesm. She had hurt Karn that night. She realised how every mome t of her life was filled with moments with Karn.
"I am very happy. How are you doing mahamahim? " Meghna asked politely.
Shakuni gave a wicked sideglance to Meghna.
"So you are the wife of Angraj Karna. But what is your identity? Were you a princess? Or a country girl?" Shakuni asked.
Meghna didn't know how to answer that question. She didn't have a proper identity in Dwaparyug cause she was living in Kaliyug most of her life.
"She is far beyond anyone's reach Gandharraj. And she doesn't need to be a princess. She already is the queen of Anga." Karn said entering the hall. Shakuni was silent. Meghna looked at Karn with a smile.
The Pandavas were too happy with the reply. And Duryodhan was unsure about how he felt. Mamasree was trying to defame Meghna without any proper reason.
"It is gonna be a long night!" Krishna said.
