Clashed destinies

Meghna loves karn

"What on earth is happening Radhama? Why didn't you tell me about Meghna and Vrushali's sudden swapping? I am married to Meghna!" Karn shouted for the first time at his mother. Radha was taken aback but she had expected some what of a big reaction too.
"Karn I know it's not fair to you but Vrushali didnt love you. She loved someone else. How could you stay happy with her?" Radha said.
"Its not about Vrushali and me ! It's about me and Meghna! We are married mother! You didnt even consult me before this! And do you know she is already married!" Karn cried frustrated.
"What do you mean! This cant be true! She would've told me if that was the case! Why would she get married to you if she already had a husband?!" Radha was shocked. She had to speak with Meghna.
Karn himself was not sure about that. Few days ago Meghna was offended with him for even touching her claiming she was married and now she has married him when she already has a husband?!
"I dont know what to do putra. I will speak to her but your marriage is a complete one. But if she is married then this marriage makes no sense. " Radha added. Karn flinched a little at this. He did not know why but he felt a sort of disappointment feeling their marriage made no sense amd wasnt authentic.
Radha left to meet Meghna.

"You are married?!" Radhama asked Meghna as soon as she entered their chamber.
Meghna was crying when she noticed her mother in law. Radha was a  little taken aback seeing her dear daughter cry. She loved Meghna I'm these past days and no matter what she would always love her.
"Maata...I dont know. When I arrived her I was getting married but our wedding was not completed. I was in Kaliyug. I dont remember him apply sindoor on my forehead but when I gained consciousness in dwapar yug my forehead was filled with sindoor. I didn't know it was." Meghna sighed sadly.
"So that marriage was not a complete one?" Radha asked relieved.
Meghna shaked her head in a no.
"Then you are officially the queen of Anga and the wife of Marn amd mu darling daughter in law! Cause your and Karn's wedding was complete. You both are a married couple now. Forget you past marriage as it was an incomplete one. But Putri tell me do you love my Karn? If you dont love him amd have feelings for someone else then I will never force you two to stay together. I was so panicked at that moment that I didn't think about you both. I regret my quick decision but tell me truthfully! If there is no love between you two then I will never force you both to be together. You can still stay my daughter and we will tell everyone a different story about it. Tell me Putri...do you love Karn?" Radhama questioned.
"No...I don't love him Maata" Meghna cried her eyes completely rejecting her story and speaking their own  language. Meghna tried to control her tears when she felt a hand on her head.
"When did you start lying to me? I thought we have no secrets between each other" Radha said clearly figuring out the truth.

Meghna looked at her surprisingly. Radha smiled and hugged Meghna. The hug was what Meghna needed most at that moment. She was in a very delicate situation with she marrying her friend's fiancee only to realise her love for that same man and only to he revealed that her now husband is in love with the most beautiful woman on earth. She needed someone and Radhama was there for her with her.
"I love him. I love him Radhama. I love him a lot but he...he loves someone else! Maata I...I dont know what to do...it feels I have become an obstacle in his love story." Meghna said breaking down.
"Karn loves someone?! But I always felt he loved you. He had something for you. I asked him several times to confirm if he wanted to marry Vrushali and he agreed so I thought it was my misunderstanding. But he always seemed so smitten by you. It cant be that he is in love with someone else!" Radha added.
"No Radhama...he will be attending a swayamvar very soon where he was going to marry his love" meghna said.
"Its been six hours and you are already thinking about your husband's second marriage?! Whatever it is I will talk to Karn about you. Atleast I know you live my son amd will keep him happy." Radha said.
"But his happiness is more important" meghna added.
If he was happy she would convince herself to stay happy in some manner.
"I will talk to him tomorrow." Radha added.
NEXT MORNING
Meghna got up hurriedly as she noticed her empty chamber(their empty chamber).
The dasi cleaning her room asked her if she wanted breakfast on the room or she would like to join her husband in the breakfast table.
"Where is Radhama?" Meghna asked.
"Rajmaata Radha left for Hastinapur. Her husband is not well. She told me to inform you that she will return as soon as possible." The dasi replied like a mechanized robot and exited the room before Meghna could ask anything else.
Meghna was worried about Adhirath kaka. She was also worried about her being alone with her new husband now. She joined Karn in the breakfast table. He seemed to ignore her. So this was his new way of avoiding her.
"Good morning" meghna wished. Karn was indulged in eating food and disnt seem to notice Meghna.
She sat down opposite to Karn.
"What has happened to Adhirath Kaka?" Meghna asked.
"Dont know yet. Will visit him today" karn said.
He was speaking like a dead man. She cursed herself for putting him in this situation where he had to live with her while he wanted to love with Draupadi.
Karn on the other hand was waiting for her mother's answers but she left too early. Why did Meghna marry him ? He found it a little awkward to converse with Meghna after their surprise marriage. Moreover last night he practically told her that he was in love with someone else when she was the one he was in love with! What was he supposed to explain so much to Meghna. It would be best if Radhama first told him about Meghna agreement . It would help him confess his feelings too. For now he wanted to run away from Meghna.
"Mitr? Ready? Tomorrow morning we will be starting our journey to Panchal!" Duryodhan entered the hall.

Karn was so deep in sit. Firstly he was married to his love who thought he loved someone else and now Duryodhan was here with this stupid swayamvar. Only if he could refuse Duryodhan.  He couldnt say no to his friend. He wont marry anyway. He was going to support Duryodhan and participate on behalf of him.
Meghna looked angrily at Duryodhan.  He was pissing him off. But Karn agrees to go to the swayamvar and Meghna was so helpless.
