Complications

I have loved Karn all my life. What is that I see in his eyes today. Tomorrow is my marriage and my fiancee is not in love with me. Meghna you are the only friend I have. Karn is in love with someone else and it is visible in his eyes. I cant live with that. If I tell Radhama about it she will confront Karn and he will refuse. He wants his mother's happiness more than anything in life. And I will marry Karn but both of us will lead a miserable life. I dont want that.  I have to run away from this marriage Meghna. You are the only person.I am sharing this secret with. Promise me it will be safe with you forever! I didnt know who Karn was in love with. But things got cleared when I heard from a dasi that Karn was going to the swayamvar of the Panchal princess. Je was in love with the most beautiful woman Draupadi and I am no where in competition. He loves Draupadi else why would he go to a swayamvar only a week after his first marriage? I cant be an obstacle to their love. They are meant to be together.
The note slipped from Meghna's hand. She could feel the tears accumulated in her eyes. She couldnt speak. Was it true? Was Karn in love with Draupadi? Why would Vrushali lie? He was going to the swayamvar. Meghna coildnt stop thinking. Was she an obstacle in Karn amd Draupadi's marriage. Draupadi was he friend and Karn was her husband and they were in love with each other?
Meghna didnt know what to do. She wandered around the entire palace when Radhama noticed her and told her to join Karn in his room. It was their first night after all.
Meghna slowly entered the room to find nowhere inside. Meghna scanned the entire room. Karn was nowhere to be found. She sighed relief. She didnt know how she was supposed to face Karn after the big revelation.
She slowly sat down on the bed. She was thinking about the messed up situation when she heard footsteps. Karn slowly came inside the chamber and found his wife seated on the bed. He didnt know what to do. He was feeling uncomfortable. Vrushali was his wife now.
"Vrushali..."Karn sighed sitting down beside his bride. Meghna looked at him her face still covered with her veil. He didnt know he was married to her.
"I...I need to confess something" karn said.
Meghna's heart started racing. She clutched onto her saree fearing the inevitable discussion.
"I am in love with someone else" Karn said trying his best to speak. He was feeling so guilty to put Vrushalinin this situation but he had to tell her the truth. He couldnt pretend loving Vrushali when he was already in love with Meghna.
Meghna could feel the hot tears trickling down her cheek. She couldn't move anymore. She couldnt speak.
"I am extremely sorry Vrushali. I...I dont know when I fell in love. But I will try my best to forget her." Karn said though he knew it was impossible for him to forget Meghna.
Meghna slowly raised her veil.
"I am so sorry Karn. I am an obstruction in your love story. I didnt know you were in love with someone else" Meghna said with unstoppable tears.

Karn was confused for a second followed by astonishment then bewilderment and at the end again confusion.
"Meghna!?" Karn exclaimed.
What was happening? Meghna was sitting beside him in their nuptial night or was he imagining this? Where is Vrushali?
"Vrushali bailed on the marriage" Meghna finally revealed the truth.
Karn was utterly shocked. Vrushali had ran away. Meghna was his wife now. They were married. What was happening?!!
"Radhama requested me to marry you and I couldnt refuse her. I...I was unaware of your love else I would've stepped back."Meghna sighed sadly.
"Meghna...we are married! But you...you are already married...I am..."Karn couldn't find words to express his emotions anymore.
Meghna couldn't face him.
Karn suddenly felt a wave of emotions in his heart. He was married to the woman he loved but his wife was already married to someone else.
"I need some air" Karn muttered and left the chamber hurriedly.
Meghna was left all alone. She was feeling so guilty. She was in a mess.
"If I tell Karn I am in love with him things will get furthur complicated. I cant confess my love when I know he is in love with someone else. I cant be an obstruction in his love story. I love him and thus I have to let him go for his own happiness." Meghna muttered to herself.

"I can't believe this! Both of them are sp complicated. If only one of them confess their real feelings things would be different " Shiv said frustrated.
"The complications have not been started mahadev! Wait and watch what mess these idiots are capable of creating." Krishna said smiling as always.
