Meghna's entry to the royal court

"We need to stop this war Arjun! We need to do something! The blood shed...the killings...our people will lose their lives, their families! We need to put an end to this war!" Meghna said concerned.
"The same people who questioned your and Draupadi's character! I dont care what happens to them..this society deserves devastation!" Arjun said angrily.
"They might have not accepted me as their queen but I have always cared for them like my subjects...like my children. How can I abandon my children at the time of need! And what kind of humans will we be if we take revenge against people and allow this war to take place knowing how disastrous this war can get!" Meghna said as she imagined the horrific effects of this battle. Karn's security was also troubling Meghna. What if something happens to him in the war!? War has always been disastrous. No war has ever been proved to be beneficial and Meghna being a peace lover couldnt see her loved ones suffering for he consequences of a war.
"Meghna is right Arjuna. We cant abandon our subjects like this. Moreover it will be dangerous for our brothers and family. We will need to stop this war. That too my pitashree is fighting against my kingdom. This needs to be stopped." Draupadi supported Meghna.
Arjun gave in eventually as he visualized his brothers getting injured or even dying.
Thus Meghna, Arjun and Draupadi proceeded towards Hastinpur.

"Is there no way to put an end to this war?" Karn asked concerned about uis subjects.
The people were fearing the inevitable destructions following the war. Many people were helpless and dint want to send their sons to the war but they had no other option.
"Drupad seems extremely revengeful. He will not agree to peace. Moreover you know mamashree Shakuni and Dushashan. They will never back down." Duryodhan said.
"Dwarka has declared that it wont participate in this war. Krishna and Balaram would not take any sides as they didnt want their people to suffer because of this war." Yudhisthir said concerned about the future.
"Maharaj a sage with his family are standing outside the palace gate. They have covered their faces and are wishing to meet you." A servant said bringing in the information.
"But we are discussing something really important here" yudhisthir said.
The other brothers nodded. However Karn said he would meet the sage and his family.
Thus Karn let the sage in. As the sage entered the palace with two.women walinh by his side Karn felt a familiarity. As if he knew these people.
"Pranioat Maharaj" it was a deep voice. If the voice was a little lighter he could've sworn he knew the voice.
As the sage was going to speak the veil covering his face was removed by the sudden gush of wind. As his face was revealed Karn could feel the tears accumulated in his eyes finally flowing down.
"Arjun..." he whispered.
The two women also uncovered their veils and Karn coildnt believe his eyes. Draupadi looked so weak and different. Her playfulness was gone. He was her culprit. Karn couldnt forgive.himself as he.witnessed his wife. She was surrounded by grief all around. Her face was filled with tear marks. She had reduced so much of weight!
"Meghna!" Karn sighed with grief and nostalgia.
"Hail the King of Anga! We are here witha problem Maharaj. Pray solve our problem" Meghna said in a requesting tone.
Karn was taken aback. Her eyes were filled with an emptiness.as she viewed Karn. His Meghna had changed completely. This woman was.strong and knew how to hide her sentiments perfectly. Her tone of.apeaking had also transformed completely. Ot seemed he was meeting Meghna for the first time.
Meghna didnt look at him anylonger . She kept looking at the throne. She knew the responsiblity the power of this throne. Karn looked at her with a sense of loss.
"What is your problem?" He barely asked.
"This war is our problem maharaj" Meghna declared rooted to the ground . Arjun and Draupadi nodded supporting her.
