Karn could see his wife sobbing silently. She was alone in a small hut . She was cooking her food and speaking to herself. "Why did you do this to me Karn? Why? I loved you...I still love you. But you abandoned me" Meghna said breaking down. Karn could feel his eyes filling with tears . He ran to his wife to hug her but he couldnt touch her. She was unaffected by his movement. It seemed he didnt exist. Meghna continued her cooking. "Bhabhisree I have brought the woods. They will light up the forest" a voice was heard outside the hut. It was Arjun. He seemed morose and sad. Meghna nodded her head. "Bhabhisree you are crying again. Bhrata will soon realise his folly. "Arjun consoled. "Even you know how unlikely that is...your jyesth Bhrata is a wonderful king....a brilliant ruler...a loving son...a caring brother a very affectionate husband. We have seen instances of that Arjun. Moreover I dont blame your brother for my condition. I had to take this step dear brother." Meghna said her face filled with a strange emotion. "Bhabhisree dont think about that. You took the right decision. We support you. Dont worry about that. And Where is Panchali?" Arjun asked. "She is gone to fetch some water. She will comeback soon" Meghna said. Arjun smiled and nodded. Karn wasextremely confused. Where was he ? What was happening?! Why is Meghna , Arjun and Panchali living in the forest?! And he was the reason they were unhappy! What had he done! What decision did Meghna take? Suddenly Karn heard Duryodhan's voice. "Pranipaat bhrata" Arjun greeted. Duryodhan blessed him and greeted his sakhi . "How is Karn?" Meghna asked. "He is sad sakhi. You know how regretful he is but his responsibility as the king...his" Duryodhan was speaking. "I know sakha. Dont worry. Come sit...have something" Meghna said. "Forgive me sakhi. I was not a true friend. I broke your expectations. I.." saying so Duryodhan broke down. "Duryodhan! You are my friend and will always remain my friend. Dont you dare utter such stupid words!" Meghna said. Duryodhan nodded. Meanwhile Panchali arrived. "Bhrata Duryodhan!" She exclaimed with surprise. "Anujaa...how are you?" Duryodhan too was happy. They spoke with each other like good old days . Karn could feel his head exploding with pain. What was happening? What was he seeing? Suddenly his eyes opened. He was sweating severely. He was dreaming? It was a nightmare! But it seemed so real! Meghna got up as she felt Karn moving. Getting up she was shocked to see Karn's condition. He was sweating and his eyes were filled wit tears. He seemed scared. "Karn...what's wrong? Karn..." Meghna asked pafting his back. Karn was too scared. He embraced Meghna and wept in her arms. Meghna was taken aback. She consoled him and kissed his forehead lovingly. "Meghna...I...it was a nufhtmare" Karn mumbled. "That's okay...that's okay" Meghna assured. "I saw...." Suddenly all the memories of his dream seemed to vanish from his memories. Every single scene seemed like non existent. As he.tried to remember the more he was forgetting. "I dont remember...I dont....but how? I saw everything so clearly...I...how come I not remember it!" Karn exclaimed with frustration. "That's fine...it ws just a nightmare" Megbna said and hugged Karn and both travelled to the land of dreams. "I am afraid it was not just a dream...it was reality...it was your future sakhi" Krishna said as a lone tear trickled down his eye.
The next morning Karn was still disturbed. He couldnt recall the dream. He just remember it was the most horrible nightmare he had ever seen. He was thinking about it in the chamber when suddenly his wife entered his chamber. "Arya...aryaa!!!"she chirped. She was his blessing. The ray of light in his life. He couldnt stop himself from smiling as Meghna hugged her. "Are you okay?" Meghna asked concerned. "Now I am. You will stay with me forever, right?" Karn found himself asking. "Very stupid question. Ofcourse arya. Ofcourse I will stay with you forever. I am your wife for heaven's sake!" Meghna said smiling widely. "Sorry are we disturbing you?" Two voices were heard at the same time. They didnt have to guess who it was. "Nakul! Sahadev!" Meghna and Karn callednout together. They always ruined their romantic moments. "Pranipaat bhrata. Pranipat bhabhisree!" They greeted. Megbna and Karn blessed them. "Bhrata how are you? You seem really happy!" Arjun teased as he noticed Meghna and Karn blushing. "Yes Meghna too seems very pleased with her new home in Anga!" Draupadi said. "And also her husband!" Krishna added. Duryodhan smirked teasing them. They greeted each other. Karn and Meghna were so happy to see their family. Radhama and maata Kunti were already busy with their gossip. Duryodhan along with thepandavas and Krishna were in Karn amd Meghna's chamber. "Its time Bhrata! Its time you come up Hastinapur!" Yudhisthir said. Karn nodded. However he was little uneasy. He looked at Krishna who nodded approvingly. Karn sighed relief. If Krishna was sure it was a good decision then who was he to question the destiny? He agreed to be the king of Anga. "Thus the suffering in Meghna's life will soon start!" Niyati declared.

Draupadi tried to explain. "I know Panchaali.I dont blame you for this but seeing you with my worst enemy saddens me. You are Parth's Panchaali but you are also Karn's Draupadi! And it frustrates me...If someday Angraj wants his rights over you I wont be able to handle it!" Arjun said in an extremely frustrating manner and left the chamber. "How is it my fault! I have always loved Arjun then why did I have to marry Angraj as well. Arjun is my husband but I am Karn's wife as well. I cant live like this any longer" Draupadi said to herself teary eyed. She looked at the high balcony in her chamber. The beautiful thought of giving up her life was possessing her mental stability. She couldnt handle so many complications. She will end her sufferings right now. She stepped towards the balcony. One more step and she would fall and her death will put an end to her pains and sufferings. As she was going to proceed she felt a sudden pull. Someone pulled her away from the balcony. Draupadi was taken aback. She landed on a strong chest and a pair of arms held her safely. She could feel her husband breathe close to her ear. Arjun was here. She couldnt help but smile. She turned around. The man before her frightened her. It was not Arjun. "What on earth do you think you were doing Panchali!" Karn exclaimed extremely disturbed and concerned. "Angraj...Its you" Draupadi said. She was disappointed. She expected Arjun. "How can you even think of ending your life Panchali!" Karn asked extremely anguished. "I hate my life Angraj! I loved Arjun. I married him. Why did you have to ruin our perfect life?" Draupadi said.
