Catch My Breath

I Cant Do This Anymore.

I was now 7 months preganat with my twin boys, I had to stay in hospital as I had some complications and they wanted to keep an eye on me. Danny has been keeping his distance from me and I don't know why. 

Danny walked in to my room and sat down, I knew something was wrong. 

"Danny, whats wrong?" I asked 

"Okay, you know I love you and I will always be there for our boys but I just don't feel like I can do this anymore" Danny said 

"Do what?" I asked 

"This...us" Danny said 

"Wait why?" I asked 

"I got offered a job working in New York...working as a crime scence investgator, it has always been my dream job and you know it has been, as I just having a long distance relastionship will be hard and I've met someone else" Danny said 

"What do you mean, you've met someone else?" I asked, I was getting upset, how can the man that I love cheat on me whlist I'm preganant with his twins. 

"You know I went away for a few months...to New York to meet my  boss, anwyay I met this girl called Lindsay and well we got talking and we fell in love" Danny said 

"Did you tell her you had a girlfriend and that I was preganant?" I asked 

"That didn't come up" Danny said 

"Right, so your leaving me to go to New York and to be with your new girlfriend, I'm 7 months pregnanat, what am I gonna do?" I asked 

"You have Shane and Nicky, you don't need me"Danny said

"I love you so much, you cant do this to me" I said 

"I'm sorry but I'm leaving" Danny said he got up and went to leave when Shane and Nicky walked in, they could feel the tension. 

"Is everything okay?" Shane asked 

"Not really" I said 

"Whats up?" Shane asked as he gave me a kiss on the cheek. 

"Do you want me to tell them or are you?" I said 

"Don't talk to me like that Sophie" Danny said 

"You okay?" Nicky asked 

"Not really, so" I went to say 

"I'll tell them" Danny said 

"Tell us what?" Shane said as he sat down, Nicky sat down on his lap. 

"Okay, so I got offered a job in New York working for a crime scence and I'm going" Danny said 

"Thats great, why arent you happy for him Sophie?" Nicky said 

"Arent you forgetting something" I said 

"I've met someone" Danny said 

"What?" Nicky said 

"He said that he cant do it anymore, being with me, he met Lindsay and never told her that he had a girlfriend...well soon to be wife and that I was pregnant with his baby!" I said

Shane could tell Nicky was angry, he rubbed his arm to calm him down. 

"I told Sophie, I will be there for her and the boys when they are born I just cant turn this job down. You will always have a place in my heart Sophie but I have to do this, I cant marry you" Danny said 

"Right, Danny please can I have a word" Shane said #

"Of course" Danny said 

"I'll come with you" Nicky said
