CHAPTER 18; The Blood Moon Part 2

"Nyx" said Will, "did she just eat all the witches?" Hina muttered, "that's your big question" said Will as Hina shrugged in reply, as Nyx's tentacles slammed on the ground, Irena jumped back narrowly dodging one of the tentacles, "finally after years of slumber, I will finally lay waste to this land" said Nyx as she looked around, she screeched when she spotted Irena, Reese, Hina and Will, her tentacles writhed around, "YOU! YOU!" She screamed "YOU four killed me!!" She screamed, "she's really pissed" said Hina, "I will kill you all, you gods I will kill you first and show your dead carcasses" said Nyx.
Nyx shrunk, well shrunk a little bit so she was no longer touching the clouds she thrust out her hand and blood erupted from the ground in spikes, they rolled out of the way, she slammed her hands on the ground and hot blood erupted like lava, she raised her hand and the blood flowed towards them like a wave of hot lava, Irena raised her hand creating a huge barrier of ice shielding them from the blood, but the pressure of the blood was too much as Irena's ice started to crack until it exploded in shards of ice, Ava quickly spread out her hand keeping the blood at Bay, as Irena stretched out her hands freezing the blood, Nyx growled as she waved her hands sharp blood daggers floated in the air she thrust out her hands and the blood daggers and tentacles flew towards the supernaturals, Hina waved her arms creating light daggers that shattered the blood daggers, Reese thrust out his hands creating dark tendrils that wrapped round the blood tentacles, he made a pulled gesture and the dark tendrils pulled off the tentacles, she howled as she twisted around creating more tentacles that slammed into the four supernaturals, "ouch" Hina muttered as she rubbed her bruised head as Nyx's tentacles uprooted tree,, chucking them at the supernaturals, Will rolled out of the way as a tree came barrelling towards him, Mr. Ronsith waved his hand creating a stone wall that protected them from the onslaught of trees.
Nyx stabbed her tentacles into the loamy soil as bloody hands tore through the ground forming a group of huge stone soldiers, Will thrust out his hand creating a blast of lightning that scorched most of the blood soldiers, Haylee and Adriàn thrust out their hands creating a wave of red hot fire that burnt the rest of the soldiers, Nyx raised her arms, and the sky rumbled with streaks of red she brought down her hand sending a blast of red lightning, Cal thrust out his hand sending a blast of electricity that countered the lightning, Nyx growled as she raised her hands creating pillars of blood which she sent flying at them, Jake waved his hands slicing most of the pillars in half while Can raised his hand making the pillars float in the air, Nyx thrust out her hands sending a blast of black energy that knocked back the supernaturals, Reese groaned as he hit a tree quickly rolling away as a tentacle smashed into the tree he was leaning against a few moments ago. "Hina" said Freddie as he nudged her, she was eagle spread on the ground, "huh?!" She mumbled disoriented, "take this, it's Sage's silver knife" said Freddie, "okay" said Hina as she gripped the knife tightly.
Nyx raised her arms as black blood erupted from the ground in waves forming eight dragon heads, the heads roared as Nyx thrust out her hands, the dragon heads raced towards them, "you guys take care of the dragon heads, Ava will help me with Nyx" said Hina, as Irena, Reese and Will thrust out their hands creating powerful blasts lightning, darkness and ice, Hina ran towards Nyx dodging her tentacles when she got close enough she jumped, Ava stretched out her hand lifting Hina higher off the ground, spinning her around when Nyx sent a tentacle at her she. Thrust her hand forward sending Hina flying straight at Nyx's chest where she embedded the silver knife, Nyx howled as Hina slid down her huge slimy body the knife slicing downwards, she erupted into a wave of black goo that seemed to get smaller and smaller until it completely disappeared, Hina sighed in relief as Ava gently placed her on land, "well that's over" said Sage "and we survived!" Cal cheered.
"So, we defeated the mother of all witches who apparently ate all the witches" said Reese as he sipped his mango smoothie, "thank God that's over" Irena sighed as she bit into her strawberry cheesecake it was three thirty in the morning and they were all gathered in Mr. Ronsith's underground lair eating strawberry cheesecake and sipping mango smoothies which Mr. Ronsith had apparently made himself, "I hope nothing big happens" said Freddie, "amen" said Cam agreeing with him, "urgh, the track season is coming soon" Kimberly groaned "hockey season is about to end" said Irena "the holidays are coming" said Reese "well hopefully we'll be able to celebrate the holidays without any cases of murder" said Adriàn, "I can't wait to go home, I need a shower" said Ava, "same, I drink of witch blood" said Hina as she sipped her smoothie.
