CHAPTER 12; THE AFTERMATH

The blood spikes that trapped the police cars disappeared and the police officers got out of their cars and quickly made their way to the town hall, "Cal! what are you doing here?!" Sheriff Brent asked, "Uh, i came to watch" Cal replied, "are you hurt?!" the sheriff asked checking Cal for injuries, Cal smiled "i'm fine, dad" said Cal.

"There's money on the counter, and leftovers in the fridge  i have to get to work, love you both, see you tomorrow" said Sara as she kissed Reese and Hina on their cheeks, "and don't ruin the house while i'm gone" she added as she grabbed her coat and rushed out of the house, closing the door behind her, "we should watch a movie" Hina suggested, as she plopped on the couch "sure, pick a movie and i'll order" Reese replied as Hina grabbed the remote and flipped through movies on netflix, "does ramen sound good?" Reese asked, "yeah!" Hina replied as Reese dialed the closest Japanese resturant, "two spicy ramen, and eggs rolls, pleaese" Reese ordered, "okay, we'll deliver your order in thirty minutes", "hey Reese do want to watch The flash?" Hina asked, "sure" Reese replied as he grabbed two bottles of sodas, three packets of nachos, and dumped them into two bowls and then proceeded to carry everything to the living room.

Five hours later, Hina and Reese woke up to the ringing of the doorbell, Reese groaned as he managed to untangle himself from Hina who was clinging to him like a teddy bear, he padded to the door and opened it, "Sara, you're back already?" Reese mumbled groggily, Sara chuckled, "i had to take a break hospital was packed with so many dead bodies" she said, "anyways is there any leftovers from dinner?" she asked as she padded into the kitchen to wash her hands, Reese leaned against the island, "i would offer you ramen but the delivery guy hasn't gotten here, yet" Reese replied,  Sara frowned as she gulped down some water, "and it's been five hours"Reese added, "don't sweat it, i'm sure they probably lost your order or something" said  Sara as she opened the fridge and microwaved some left over mac 'n' cheese. 

It was Saturday and the group had gathered downstairs in Mr. Ronsith's underground liar as Freddie had dubbed it, "so any more training or are going to start freaking out cause the witches only have three more sacrifices to make and we have no clue whatsoever what said sacrifice does?" Adrian asked "that's why we're here" said Mr. Ronsith as he dropped a stack of dusty old books in front of the teens, "we're going to go through every one of these books until we find something" he replied, "but you're an old mage can't you, i don't know do some Merlin magic and find out what the sacrifices are for?" Hina asked, "i'm a mage my focus is on elements, and finding out about sacrifices and witches is out of my league" said Mr. Ronsith, "now start reading" he instructed, as the teens grumbled and picked up the books. "God, my brain can't take it anymore" Haylee moaned as she dropped her books, "seconded" said Reese, "can we please do something less boring?" Irena asked closing her book, as Freddie jumped up, "i've got to run, seriously my body can't take sitting in one place for too long" he said as he raced out of the room before anyone could stop him, "i wish i could follow him but my butt is so numb right now" said Will as he flopped down backwards, "i feel you" said Jake, "i need a break" said Adrian as Mr. Ronsith stood up, "how about we go to the yogurt shop down the street?" he suggested "perfect" said Cam throwing his book, "what about Freddie?" Sage asked and right on cue Freddie zipped back into the room, "guys!guys!isawadeadbodybythecreekinthewoods!" he said in one breath, "what?" said Cal, "breathe Freddie" said Mr. Ronsith, as Freddie nodded, "i saw a dead body by the creek in the woods" he said Reese frowned "was it a man or a woman?" he asked "a man, he was wearing this red shirt with a logo on it and blue jeans, plus there was a motor cycle not to far away from his body" Freddie replied, "The delivery guy!" Hina gasped, "what?" Kimberly asked, "there was some dude who was meant to delivery dinner yesterday but he never came" Hina replied, "Freddie do you remember where the body is?" Sage asked as Freddie nodded.
