CHAPTER 17; The Blood Moon part 1

"She took the bodies"Will groaned as she leaned against the freezer, "well, we're in some serious shit" said Cam, "hey, guys is Mr. Ronsith gonna wake up?" Hina asked as everyone turned to Mr. Ronsith who was passed out on the ground, Elenore was hunched over him waving her hand in his face "hey how come you're not hurt or in any pain" asked Freddie as he winced trying to get up "because she decided to 'spare' me" Elenore replied as Mr. Ronsith groaned and sat up slowly, "she took the bodies right?" Mr. Ronsith asked "yep" said Haylee popping the 'p' "what do we do now?" Jake asked "go back home, sleep try to recover, you'll need all your strength to defeat the witches" he advised.
Adriàn flopped on his bed he had managed to convince his mother that he was sick and couldn't go to school today so he could sleep in and wait for the blood moon. He had just closed his eyes for five minutes when his phone rang, he groaned and clamped his pillow over his ears but the phone rang louder, he groaned and stretched out his hand answering his phone "what's up?" He asked "Sage and Reese are awake" Hina replied, as Adriàn sat up quickly "when?" He asked as he hurriedly raced down his house to the front door slipping on his coat and tying the laces of his shoes, "a couple of minutes ago" Hina replied.
Sage blinked as the colors sharpened, the blurry haze disappearing, she blinked again and she could see clearly she was in Mr. Ronsith's underground lair, she looked around, Reese was beside her on a stone bed like she was, "Reese?" She called "hey" Reese replied as they slipped off the beds, "my head hurts" she moaned as they climbed up the steps, Reese pushed open the doors and they were in Mr. Ronsith's library, "yes, that would be fifty dollars and-" Mr. Ronsith turned to see Reese and Sage hiding behind a bookshelf, "I'll be back" he said as he walked towards them, "how do you guys feel?" He asked "hungry" Reese replied "sleepy" replied Sage "go back to the basement and I'll call the others" said Mr. Ronsith.
"Did anyone bring a burger or something?" Reese asked as he ran his fingers through his black locks, "dude,  Blaise stole the bodies and the blood moon is in the next five hours" said Adriàn "and I haven't eaten in the past twelve hours" Reese countered "hello supernaturals" said a lady with bright golden blonde hair and blue eyes "who are you?" Cal asked "Elenore" said Elenore "okay, so what about my food situation?" Reese asked "Reese your food situation is the least of our worries" said Irena "hello, I could starve to death here" said Reese "so what do we do now?" Sage asked "we wait" Elenore replied "or we can steal the bodies" said Kimberly "but we don't know the witches hideout" said Haylee "the coven keeps their cave a secret no one can access it" said Elenore, "I can try to see where it is" Sage suggested "let's hope that works" said Elenore, "so this Nyx character is she really that bad?" Freddie asked "she's the most powerful witch to ever exist, it took four gods to stop her" said Elenore, "well then we're in for some serious shit" said Reese, "so does that mean we need four gods to stop her?" Hina asked, "not exactly" said Mr. Ronsith, "the four gods that defeated her were , Poseidon, Hades, Zeus and Apollo" said Mr. Ronsith, "Hina, Reese, Will and Irena" said Elenore, "wait so we're gonna do the major butt kicking?" Irena asked "yes, but the others will back you up" said Mr. Ronsith, "which polietly means if you screw up we're doomed" Elenore added "thank you that made me feel so much better" said Irena sarcastically "you're welcome" Elenore replied, "now let get you ready for the big battle" she said.
"Are you sure about this last time I drank one of your potions I ended up in some sort of creepy coma" said Reese as he eyed the vail Elenore handed him, "just out of curiosity what does this do?" Will asked "it's to strengthen your powers as you four are now you can't defeat Nyx and we don't have any time for training, so this potion will forcefully unlock your powers" Mr. Ronsith explained, "oh goody" said Will as he unscrewed the cap of the vail and gulped down it's contents, he gasped and choked as his eyes flashed lightning blue, Irena's eyes flashed white, Reese's silver and black and Hina's pure gold. Hina groaned the world seemed to be bathed in bright golden light, so bright she couldn't see anything but gold "how do you feel?" Elenore asked but her voice sounded faraway, "dead" Reese replied
"Frozen" said Irena
"Burned" replied Will
"Blind" Hina said.
"Oh my god" Irena gasped when her vision had cleared and the feeling of ice creeping up her body had disappeared, beside her Hina was blinking rapidly staring at her palms "so how do you guys feel?" Elenore asked again "like I could eat three double cheeseburgers" replied Reese, "ditto" said Will "same" Irena agreed, "Mee to" said Hina, as Sage and Adriàn face palmed "well we're all going to die" said Elenore, "it's not fault I'm hungry I haven't eaten since yesterday's breakfast" said Reese, "we can go to the burger place down the street" said Ava "cool, one last meal before we face the mistress of witches" said Will.
The town of Ceford Valley, Maine was calm, quiet and peaceful as it always was, locals had been advised to stay indoors due to the current murders, so the locals watched as the blood moon rose high in the sky, bathing the town with it's pale red beams.
Up on the lone cliff of Ceford Valley was a small cave that hummed with power, the cliff overlooked the entirety of Ceford Valley, as witches poured out of the cave ten in all. "Sisters" Blaise began as she stood in front of her fellow witches the bodies of sacrifices had been placed in a circle drawn with chalk and their stolen organs placed on the three corners of the star inscribed in the circle, "tonight is a special night a night that will bring about the domination of all witches the night of the witches of blood" said Blaise as her sisters cheered, "we would rid the world of every supernatural creature and we would dominate the mortal, we would be gods and all that's left are the secret ingredients" said Blaise, "let the summoning begin" said Blaise.
Sage closed her eyes, she was seated on the stone cold floor of Mr. Ronsith's basement, trying to see were they witches cave lay, she sighed "I can't see anything" she said, "try harder, our Livy are on the line" said Elenore, Freddie glared at her, as he placed his hands on Sage's shoulder he looked her in the eye, her grey eyes meeting his toffee colored ones "hey, just keep trying and try not to get frustrated our lives are really in the line" he said, she narrowed her eyes at him "thanks for the help" she grumbled, as she closed her eyes again, this time when she opened them they were glowing bright pink and staring into space, "Sage what do you see?" Elenore asked, "I see a cliff overlooking Ceford Valley" she replied, "the witches they've prepared the sacrifices and they're starting to summon her" Sage replied, "the cliff were is it?" Cal asked towards the edge of the woods" Sage replied, as she blinked and her eyes returned to normal, "well let's get going" said Elenore.
"Otis ei regiari"  The witches chanted as red streaked the sky, "Otis ei regiari" their chanting growing louder, "they're here" Blaise muttered.
A blast of lightning struck the middle of the chalk drawn star making the witches scatter "yeah, you better run" said Hina as Blaise grinned at them "you stepped right into my trap" she said "what?" Said Reese looking confused as something red and slimly solidified around his ankle and yanked him off his feet, "crap" Irena muttered as they dangled over the middle of the chalk drawn star, "Blaise chuckled as Haylee sent a stream of fire at the witches but it bounced off "there's a barrier" she said "no kidding" Will muttered as Blaise brought out a glowing bronze knife, she slashed their fore arms letting the blood drip down their arms and fingers sizzling as it hit the warm soft soil the soil bubbled as Blaise cut the red blood ropes that were holding them so they feel face flat on the ground, "that hurt" Hina mumbled as the ground below them rumbled and bubbled as black blood erupted from the ground like tentacles consuming everything in it's sight, Irena quickly made an ice dome protecting them from the wrath of the black blood tentacles, the tentacles devoted the sacrificed organs and the bodies bursting through the barriers, waves upon waves of black blood consumed everything, the witches howled as the blood tentacles dragged them into the abyss of the black blood, "no! no!no! What's happening?!" Blaise screeched as the black blood tentacles dragged her into the abyss of black blood, the tentacles writhed around as the black blood took shape, the shape of woman.
A gaint woman with red skin and black hair like dreadlocks like tentacles, her body comprised of black blood tentacles, her eyes were pure blood red, her mouth compromised of rows upon rows of white sharp teeth, She towered above them her head in the clouds "Nyx" Will muttered
