CHAPTER 10; THE SUPERNATURALS.

"First of all were did you find this book?" Will asked, "i found it with the books Mr. Ronsith ordered" Jake replied, "does that mean he know about all of this?" Freddie asked, "i don't know" Jake replied, "we'll figure out the supernatural part tomorrow, but right now let's focus on the blood witch part" said Sage, "The virgins, The sages and The heroes those are the people their after" said Adrian "plus they're strongest when the moon is covered in blood" said Ava "the blood moon, it's in three weeks from now" said Irena "what do you think they're going to do with all the sacrifices?" Irena asked "nothing good" Hina replied, "they've stolen the bodies, so right now i think we should start gathering all the silver we have" said Cal, "good point" said Reese, "so what exactly do the sages mean?" Haylee asked "i mean those are the next people the witches are after" she said, "Jake what do you know about Jay?" Will asked, "um, he loves heavy metal rock, smokes way to much for a seventeen year old, he has two cat and-" "and what?" Reese asked "he's a math prodigy" Jake replied, "sage means someone wise, right?" Cam asked, Sage nodded "so the witches are going after smart people?" Ava asked "no they're going  after exceptional academic students" said Sage, "so basically prodigies in academics" said Reese, Sage nodded, "great, i have to start changing my straight A's to straight F's" Irena grumbled, "same here,  got to change my biology and chemistry reports" said Reese, "no, i don't think they'll come after us" said Jake, "Jake the witch tried to kill you" said Will, "she wanted to kill me not sacrifice me, they see us as a threat" he said.

"Okay, so we know the next victims are prodigies can anyone think of anyone they know that is a prodigy, who isn't a supernatural?" Reese asked at the lunch the next day, "not particulary" said Haylee, "really, no one?" Reese asked "not off the top of my head" she said.
School went by slowly, but when it was finally over the group apart from Jake who was still in hospital as advised by the doctor, made their way to Mr. Ronsith's library, it was empty which was unusual considering that people from all over town came to this library (they're only two libraries in down the other one had only classified files), "Mr. Ronsith?" Reese called as they searched for the old man, "I can't find him" said Hina "I don't think he's here maybe he went for a lunch break" said Will, "seriously?" Said Irena as Will shrugged "I'm just saying" he said, "um, guys I think I found something" said Freddie, the wall behind the desk was open, kind of like a secret passage, it radiated a kind of comforting and familiar power, it made them feel warm, "come on let's go" said Reese as the group followed him.
The passage led to stone steps, as they descended the him of power vibrated through the glowing walls that were engraved with ancient greek writings and drawing, according to what Adriàn had told them, they finally reached the bottom of the steps which led to a narrow corridor then expanded into a huge carven by now each of them could feel the power reverberating through the room, the walls glowed with a golden hue giving, moss and ivy filled the cracks of the stone wall, in the middle of the carven was a small stump, the stone walls were fitted with stone shelves were dusty artifacts, bottles of unknown substances and books were neatly packed, towards the other end of the carven was a roaring fire place where Mr. Ronsith stood throwing leaves Into the blazing fire,"he's a witch!" Freddie said, "I'm a mage thank you very much" he said turning to face them "what's the difference?" Freddie asked "witches are females gifted in the magic of the mist or in this case blood, while mages like me focus on the elemental side of magic" he explained "oh" Freddie muttered "I assume you came to ask me about your new roles as supernaturals" he said "new roles?" Haylee asked, Mr.Ronsith nodded "the supernaturals were created by the gods to destroy and purge chaos in other words to balance the supernatural and the natural to make sure nothing from the either sides affects the other" he explained, "I've studied greek mythology and I haven't come across the supernaturals" said Kimberly, "what happened to them?" She asked "damnatio memoriae" Mr. Ronsith replied "damnation of memory" Adriàn translated "what does that mean?" Hina asked "basically everything they owned and their entire existence was erased after the gods destroyed them through the hunters" he explained "hunters?" Cam echoed "we'll talk about that later right now I need to know what exactly your powers are" said Mr.Ronsith "how?" Sage asked, "it was why I was making this" he said as he waved his hand the fire extinguished itself leaving thirteen smooth pearls "whoa!" Said Cal "each of you take one" he instructed as everyone picked a pearl, "stare into it" he said, they stared at the pearls "block out every sound and concerntrate" Mr. Ronsith instructed.
Sage's pearl turned pink and so did her eyes, followed by Freddie who's eyes turned orange as did his pearl, the Ava her pearl and eyes were red, Irena who's pearl and eyes were icy blue almost white, Adriàn and Haylee had the same color of pearls and eyes bronze, Cal's eyes turned amber-yellow, while Hina's turned gold, Will's turned blue like the lightning that streaked across the sky, Cal's turned blue-white, Reese's turned black and quick silver, his irises were black but his pupils were silver and Kimberly's turned green, "like the first supernaturals" said mr. Ronsith "so what exactly are our powers?" Irena asked "I'll need the book it has most of the details" said Mr. Ronsith "it's with Jake" Will replied, "let's go" said Reese.
Jake flipped through the dairy, a page caught his eye;
Pink- foresight
Gree-wolves
Red-mind
Black and silver-death and darkness
Navy blue-thr four winds
Blue-thunder
Light blue-weight of the world
Blue and silver- ice
Bronze-inferno
Orange-speed
Amber-yellow-life force.
Gold-light
"What the hell?" He muttered as the other burst into his room, "what's up?" He asked "Mr. Ronsith knows and we need the book" said Will "for what?" Jake asked "to find out their powers" Mr. Ronsith replied as Jake handed him he book, "I see you've found the page" he said, "anyways I have a basic understanding of your powers now but a warning the full moon makes your powers go haywire, especially you Kimberly so once it's six o'clock on Saturday head down to the room you saw me in today and until then don't destroy the town" he advised as he left the ward "but we don't know what our powers are!" Reese called after him, "read the book" said Sage tossing him the book, "so my power is death and darkness?" Said Reese, Sage shrugged "I have foresight" she said "what the hell is inferno?" Haylee asked "I'm guessing I'm some kind of wolf shifter" said Kimberly, "we'll figure his out tomorrow, like Mr. Ronsith said our powers Will be going haywire since the full moon is coming so we should try to control them" said Adriàn.
