"So you were a pilot?" Rex asked and Kira nodded, a confident smile on her face. "Not just a pilot," she said, "but the best pilot on the west coast of America." "Ameri-what?" Fives asked and Kira chuckled. "I forget you people know just about as much about earth as I do about the force." She had to remind herself that her land was foreign to them just like their land was foreign to her. She would have to explain things to them just like they would have to explain things to her. They were both learning. "America is a country on earth." "Oh." Echo replied. "Are they part of the Republic?" Rex asked and now Kira was the one with a confused look. "Uh, no." "So they're separatists then!" Fives shouted. "Um no." Kira replied and now all the men looked confused. "What is it then?" "Uhhh I know this one I think- oh! 'One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all'." Kira said with her hand over her heart and her tone as if she was reciting something she knew by heart. The pledge of allegiance. "Right uh..." Rex began and Fives looked over at Echo. "Do you understand what she means?" He muttered and Echo shrugged. "Don't worry about it." Kira said with a shrug. "It's not like you'll ever go to America or earth." "Yeah but I'd like to. Some day." Echo said which surprised Kira and she looked at him with a raised brow. "What? Why?" "It sounds different. It sounds unique. I'd like to experience it some time." He said and Kira smiled softly at his words. "You know what, me too." Fives said. "I want to experience it and see what makes it so different." Kira chuckled at them. "Alright. Hopefully one day you two can come back to earth with me and I'll show you all the highlights."

"So the council has decided to give you two padawans?" Padme asked as she crossed her office to her desk, taking a seat and reading over some documents that had been brought to her to look over before her next senate meeting. "Yes." Anakin said with a sigh. He had already explained it to Ahsoka who seemed to be pretty understanding about it. She didn't seem bothered by it much but rather excited to have a sort of "study buddy". However, he needed to talk to someone about it. And he chose to talk to Padme. "Well that seems to me to be an extreme honor." She said without even looking up from her reading. "Padme," "are you saying it isn't?" She said, glancing up at him from her reading. "No, I mean yes. I mean-" Anakin sighed. "I'm very honored but all of this and they still won't make me a part of the council?" "Ani." Padme warned. "Maybe this is all a test, just to make sure you truly are ready to be a part of the council." Anakin scoffed. "Are you insinuating that I'm not ready to be on the council?" Padme looked up from her reading once more. "Anakin I believe you are ready more then anyone else. I've seen how you've grown through the years and I admire the Jedi you have become. I'm just trying to reconcile the ways of the council is all." Anakin sighed. "Right." He said softly. "I'm sorry." "Don't be." Padme said as she stood from her desk and walked over to him. She put her arms around him as she smiled up at him. "I'll have to meet this new padawan of yours." She said and Anakin wrapped his arms around her waist. "In due time I'm sure you will." He added. "But be warned, she is a little... strange." Anakin said and Padme giggled softly. "She can't be that bad, I'm sure." "Perhaps." Anakin said before leaning down to her and pressing his lips to hers in a soft kiss in the secrecy of her office.

"Wait so let me see if I've got this right," Five's said as he sat across from Kira at the mess hall. Rex had given the brothers permission to show Kira around and their "grand tour" had ended in the mess hall. "McFly goes back in time and tries to bang his mom? That's actually disgusting and you think that's entertaining?" Fives said with disgust and Kira laughed. "No no no, you aren't listening. He's not trying to bang his mom, his mom is trying to bang him." "And that makes it so much better?" Fives asked with a raised brow. "No, his mom doesn't know it's him." "But why is it called back to the future if he's trying to go to the present?" Echo asked. "Because he's trying to go to his future. He goes back in time several decades to when his mom was his age and his mom doesn't know it's him so she has the hots for him." "Ew." Fives cut in. "Right! But he's grossed out too and trying to get back to the future or his present." "Huh." Echo said and Fives was still trying to figure it out. "I've lost both of you haven't I?" Kira asked and the men nodded. "You'll have to see it some time. It makes much more sense that way." "Or maybe you're just bad at explaining it." Fives said. "Hey!" Kira said and the boys chuckled. "Hey..." Kira muttered as she realized something. "Do clones have names?" Some how she hadn't picked up on that. They had to have been cloned from the same person so did they all identify as the original doner's name? Or did they have numbers? Or a code? "Well... yeah." Echo replied. "I mean, we have numbers assigned at birth but every clone ends up with a name eventually. Kind of like a right of passage." Echo added and Kira nodded. "So, what are your names?" The men then realized they had never told her and yet they both knew her first and last name. "I'm Fives." "And I'm Echo." "Huh." Kira said as she looked at them. "So how did you earn your names?" "Well Fives got his because his number is quite literally CT-5555 so that's pretty self explanatory." "Right, and Echo got his from training, he used to repeat all of our orders." "I was just trying to make sure everyone understood." "You sure did." Fives said with a chuckle as he patted his brother on the back. "And much more." He added. Echo rolled his eyes before looking back at Kira. "We were planning to do some target practice this evening. Would you like to join us?" Echo asked the girl politely. "You know, considering you were a soldier too. I thought maybe you'd-" "I'd love to."
