Woah, who's the girl?" A voice asked causing Fives, Echo, and Kira to turn. At the entrance to the med bay were the other men of Fives' and Echo's squad. Jesse, Hardcase, Dogma and Tup. "You've seen her before." Fives said as he nudged to Kira. "She's the girl from the mission to that planet that was farther then the outer rim." "Earth." Both Kira and Echo corrected him. "Oh yeah." Jesse said. "The mission girl.' "I have a name." Kira said as she jumped off of the medical bed and crossed her arms over her chest. "Kira Stacey." She introduced herself. "This is Tup, Hardcase, and Jesse. Our brothers." Fives said as he gestured to each man upon his respective name. "Kira," one of the men tried out her name. Hardcase. "Cute little thing aren't you?" He mused with a smirk. "Careful," Fives warned his brother with a grin. "She's a feisty little one." He added. The men laughed. "who? Her?" "Hell yeah." Kira said. "I'm one tough cookie."

"So you were a soldier too?" Tup asked the brunette. She had just finished telling the men her story, how she came from earth and was a pilot for the Air Force. Not only that but she made sure to include that she was the best pilot on the west coast. She nodded at his question. "And she has a dog tag too!" Echo said causing the other men to look confused. Kira sighed as she fished the unique necklace out of her shirt. "It's something all of our soldiers wear to identify themselves. It has my first and last name, my middle initial, my number, my blood type, and my religion." "It's shiny." Jesse said as he and the other men looked at the small indented metal plate in her hand. Kira laughed softly at how intrigued the men were by something so minuscule to her. She tucked the dog tag back into her shirt. "This place you're from, what was it like?" Hardcase asked. "It's different. Much different from here. Our technology isn't nearly as advanced and we don't have armies made of clones or droids." "Huh?" Tup said and the men gave her a confused look. "Then who fights your wars?" Kira shrugged. "Just ordinary people like me who chose to enlist." "Enlist?" Jesse echoed the word, not knowing quiet what it meant. "You know, like sign up to be a part of something." Kira clarified. "So you got to chose to be a soldier?" Echo asked. Kira looked up at him. She could see something in his eyes, something short of pain. "Yeah..." she replied slowly before she realized something. "You didn't, did you?" She asked before she looked around at all the men. "You don't get to chose do you?" The men grew quiet. "No." Dogma replied. "We're meant to be soldiers. It's the one and only thing we're taught since birth." Kira's brows furrowed. "That must be terrible. "No." Dogma replied. His brothers were all quiet and she could tell they didn't agree. "We get to serve the Republic. It's our purpose." Kira scoffed. "Your purpose is assigned to you at birth." She shook her head. "I have to find mine." She added. "So none of you have ever been to like high school?" "No." Fives replied and the men looked confused. "What is that?" Kira chuckled. "Count yourselves lucky then." She said. "High school is the thunder dome." "The what?" "Jesus, nevrmind."

"That girl from earth really did all of this? But She hasn't even had a single training lesson in the force yet." Plo Kloon said as Anakin addressed the council concerning Kira's strange actions on their mission. "There is something off about this girl. I sensed it from the moment she was brought before us." Obi-Wan stated. "We need to figure out what it is that makes her so - unique." Mace Windu replied. "Because she very well could be a threat. And if she is one she must be dealt with as swiftly and as soon as possible to assure no casualties will ensue." He added. "Master Windu," Anakin spoke up. "I don't know much about the girl myself but surely you don't think she's capable of causing tragedy." "Anakin," Obi-Wan said as he spoke down to his apprentice. "You barely know the girl. Do not let her demeanor or origin blind you. Evil can be just as deceitful as it wicked." "But master Kenobi-" "We need to figure out what it is that grants this young woman such strange power. That way if it is not a threat, we can use it to our strength and maybe even win the war." Shaak Ti interrupted Anakin. The council obviously wasn't going to hear him out. They just had to see for themselves. He found their lack of trust in him disturbing but there wasn't much he could do about it until he was a true Jedi master and he was starting to doubt that day would ever come. "A decision we have made then." Yoda spoke up, distracting Anakin from his thoughts. "Bring the girl to us you will. Examine her with the force we must."
