"What kind of guns-" Kira muttered to herself as she inspected the blaster Fives handed to her for target practice. "How do you-" she added as she furrowed her brows, looking over the strange objected. "Make sure you set it to stun, just in case." Echo told her. She looked at him with an expression that just showed how lost she was before looking down at the blaster in her hands once more. "What?" She asked. "What kind of- where do you keep the bullets?" Fives and Echo shared a look. "Bullets?" Fives echoed her words with a raised brow. "These are blasters they don't use bullets. Why would you want to use bullets? They're wasteful." Kira scoffed. "Wasteful? What else are you supposed to use as amo?" "Do you not have blasters where you come from?" Fives asked and Kira shook her head. "Uh no. We have guns that shoot bullets. Lead bullets." "Why don't you use blasters instead?" Echo asked curiously. "Look, dude, we just figured out computers, okay? Don't push your luck."

"Another good shot. You aren't too bad at this." Fives complimented the earth girl. "What can I say." Kira said with a smirk. "I know my way around weapons. I've got weapons from A-Z. From axe to... uh... ze other axe." The men chuckled at her comment. "I think you're gonna fit in rather well with the 501st." Fives said. "Well, once you get adjusted." Echo added. "Coruscant seems to be awfully different then the place you're from." He added. "What's the 501st?" Kira finally asked with her head cocked to one side in wonder. "The 501st is our legion." Fives explained as he gestured to himself and Echo. "We're under the command of General Skywalker, commander Tano, and Captain Rex." "Oh! I understand now! I had my own legion on earth." She told them. "I was an Eagle on Edward's Air Force Base." "You were a what?" Echo asked. "An Eagle, Eagle seven to be correct. The eagles were the most elite group of pilots on the base and the west coast." "So you were really 'all that' when it came to flying, huh?" Fives asked and Kira chuckled. "I can fly anything, trooper." Fives looked over at Echo with a grin. "Guess we can test that tomorrow." He said. "Huh?" Kira asked looking at him, now confused. "The 501st will be deployed on a mission tomorrow. Maybe then we can see what you've got, missy." He tease and Kira shook her head with a laugh. "What makes you think I'm coming with you?" "You have to." Echo said with s small grin as well. "You're General Skywalker's new padawan and just like commander Tano, you will be coming with him into battle for hands on learning." "Please," Kira said with a roll of her eyes, "I wasn't brought all the way across outer space just to fight in some war that's not mine to fight." Fives and Echo shared another knowing look. "Then you can ask General Skywalker yourself."

"Kira there you are." Anakin said as he entered the practice shooting range. "I thought I told you to stay with Rex." He said with a stern tone. "You didn't tell me anything accept to stay out of trouble." "And you couldn't even do that." Anakin scolded. "Excuse me?" Kira scoffed. "I haven't caused any trouble!" "Yes you have. I've been looking for you everywhere." Anakin looked from her to Fives and Echo. "Tell your new friends good night, you've got a big day tomorrow." "Oh right, the war that I'm being dragged along to fight in that no one thought to tell me about until now." Her tone was getting louder and heavier with attitude by the minute. Fives and Echo took this as their que to leave. They told Skywalker and Kira goodnight before leaving. "So that's why you have such an attitude? I thought you were a soldier too. Wouldn't you want to fight in a war? Serve your purpose?" Kira groaned. "No. I want to go home." She spat. "You can't go home. There's a stronger force at work and you need to serve your destiny." "I don't have a destiny." Kira hissed. "I'm just a normal girl. I want to do normal girl things like go to the mall and get my nails done. But no, I get dragged across the universe by some dingus and his copy and paste soldiers to fight a war I know nothing about." "Kira-" Anakin tried to reason with her but Kira wasn't having it. "It's whatever. I'm just tired." She said with a sigh as she closed her eyes. "I'm sorry. It's been a day, as you can imagine." "Yeah I'm sure." Anakin said as he put a hand on her shoulder. "You should get some rest." "Yeah.." she muttered. "Goodnight."
