"Behind you!" Echo yelled and Kira was quick to turn to shoot the droid behind her that was about to take her out as well. "Good shot." Anakin said as he deflected the blasts of more droids with his trademark saber. Ahsoka stood next to him, doing the same as the group defended a small town on a planet that being over run by droids and separatist. They had been calling for help for quite some time and the republic was finally able to spare some troops to come help. And Kira was brought along for her first battle with the Republuc. "How do I know the good guys from the bad?" She had asked on the way to the destination. Rex chuckled at her question. "Oh you'll know." He had replied. "The enemy is nothing but a bunch of clankers." Fives muttered before putting his helmet on. "The separatist armies are made of of droids." Anakin told her. "Shoot at anything that's shooting at you that's not a living thing." He added. "Armies of droids and clones." Kira muttered. "The more I ask the more bizarre it gets."

Kira shot down another droid successfully. She stood between Echo and Fives as she fought along side them. Her eyes were focused on the droid army in front of her, following orders and doing what she was told. A sudden different figure caught her eye as she fought back. It marched straight to her and her eyes widened. He was ghostly but yet clear as day. She knew all too well who he was. Her breathing began to quicken and her legs felt incredibly weak as her mind registered who he was but not why he was here or how. She slid back slightly. The man smiled. "Hello Kira." His voice echoed in her mind. No one else seemed to notice or if they did they didn't let on to it. "No." She breathed. The men beside her didn't seem to hear. "Not this." She added. She felt weak. "Not now." The man walked closer, his hands tucked into his pockets and an incredibly pompous stride to his steps. He strode like a king. "Tell them." He added. His voice was so smooth and dark. "Tell them who you are, what you've done." The gun dropped from her hands. Her body was shaking in pure terror. "Stop this." She cowered. Echo noticed. "Kira?" She didn't hear him. "Please." She muttered, her voice filled with fear. "Kira what's wrong?" Echo persisted but she still couldn't hear him. The man chuckled. "Bang." He hissed and as if his words were a omen a stray blast from a droid nailed Kira right in her shoulder causing her to scream as she fell back. "Kira!" Echo shouted, Fives heard this time and saw Kira on the ground with a nasty looking wound on her right shoulder. "Take her to Kix." He told Echo. Echo looked from his brother to the injured girl. "I've got this." Fives added. "You go." Echo finally nodded as he scooped up the girl and ran her to Kix.

"This should help with the pain." Kix said as he stuck a needle into her skin and injected her with a dose of painkiller. She didn't react. She kept her blank stare focused in front of her. "Thanks, Kix." Echo said. "Just doing my job." Kix replied before looking down at her. He studied her. He noted how she just stared off into space with her lips parted ever so slightly. Something was off about her. He just wasn't sure what. Echo scooped her up into his arms once more. "I'll take her somewhere she can rest out of the way. They need you for other injuries." He said and Kix nodded as Echo walked off with the mute injured girl.

Echo sat the girl down on the cold metal floor of the gunship. "Hey." He said softly but she didn't respond. "Kira." He added and finally she tilted her head to look up at him. Her face was pale and she looked like she had just seen a ghost. "Echo?" She said softly. Her voice was so small unlike the confident tone it was before. "Yes. It's me. I'm here." He said as he gently took her hand in his. His curious eyes looked down at her. "What... what happened out there? You were in a trance almost.." Kira thought back to the haunting image she saw on the battle field. Apparently no one else had seen it but her. She didn't know if that was any better or not. She shivered as she thought about it. "I-I saw something." She replied. "Or well, I saw someone." She added. "Who?" Echo persisted. He didn't remember seeing anyone but droids at battle but maybe she saw something he hadn't. Or maybe it was something with the force. He wasn't a Jedi or force sensitive so he wasn't completely sure how the force worked but maybe it was capable of making her see things. Kira hesitated. Fear filled her features before she looked back up at him, wide scared eyes looked up at his. "My dad."
