A Lost Soul Returned

One... Two... Three?

Emily wandered aimlessly around the city walking until she couldn't anymore and sat on a bench to rest when a familiar voice called to her. "Luca" she said wondering how he'd found her. "I couldn't sleep so I just wondered around for awhile" he said reading her confusion. "Please come home with me Em, we can make this work; I know we can" he smiled at her extending his hand. The moment she took it she felt light headed and the image of Luca melted away leaving a demon and her vision faded.

"What do you mean gone!" Simon said over the other questions in the air. Jocelyn read the note she'd left behind stating that there was nothing left for her and that she didn't want anything to do with "that bastard". Both Cassidy and Magnus tried tracking her but came up empty handed; she vanished. The baby had pale honey colored skin with big brown almond shaped eyes and silky pitch black hair, Magnus said his father had been mediterranean. Clary, Isabelle, Jocelyn and Willow spent days sifting through the files and pictures of all of the past adult male trainees within the appropriate time frame that could be his father but no one matched. Magnus put Max to sleep so he could look into his mind and search the memories Max had seen in Emily's head but they too were useless; Magnus and Alec decided to keep the baby and named him Emilio Bane Lightwood to carry on the Lightwood name since Isabelle and her children were Morgensterns and Cartwrights. Alec and Magnus stayed in the institute for a while for help, they adopted Cassidy when she was four and they were nervous about caring for an infant but everything went smoothly. Emilio wasn't a noisy baby and seemed to take to Alec a little more than Magnus. They were lying in Alec's old room with Emilio between them trying to put him down for bed when Max burst in "Magnus Rae and Jocelyn are in Labor!" he said breathing heavily then running back to the infirmary. "Both of them!" Alec shouted grabbing Emilio and rushing to the common room where Jace and Jonathan were pacing, Clary had Lauryn and Isabelle held Mariana and Will Alexandra; Cassidy was gone to help her father with the deliveries. Magnus burst into the room to see Fin and Luca wiping the girls foreheads attempting to comfort them as they howled in pain, Magnus assigned Cassidy to Jocelyn and tended to Willow. "Is my mommy and Jocie alright?" Lauryn asked with tears in her eyes. "Your new brother or sister is coming in a little bit, your cousin too" Clary smiled at her. "Why are you guys walking a hole in the floor! You're making everyone nervous" Max commented when more screams filtered into the common area; he jumped up and headed for the door but was stopped by Angela who pulled him into a tight hug. "They're fine Max"

"It sounds like they're dying!"

" It's all apart of the process, it's just as painful to bring life as it is to lose it; your sisters are okay" Angela cooed rubbing his back. "You're almost done Jay, you're doing so great" Fin praised; Cassidy instructed her to start pushing. A cry rang out in the midst of Jocelyn's struggle and Willow had given birth to a baby boy, and seconds later came Jocelyn's girl. The room was filled with joy until Willow screamed out in pain again Magnus rushed over as she birthed another son. "Twins Magnus! You helped us with the new nursery and we only got one of everything." Luca sighed. "I fixed that, no worries" he smiled after checking all three children over. Fallon Cartwright had Fin's brown hair and Jocelyn's green eyes; they'd named her after Fin and Luca's mother. Jules and Jaden Cartwright had reddish brown hair like Lauryn but had Willow's green eyes. "Those eyes are an extremely strong trait" Magnus sang out before he and Cassidy went to join the others knowing they'd be anxious. Fin carried his daughter and both Luca and Willow grabbed one of the boys and they walked into the common room together earning praise. "The twins had twins" Jonathan smiled with arms around Isabelle as she rocked and kissed her granddaughter in tears. "Her name is Fallon, after Fin and Luca's mother" Jocelyn told everyone as they gazed at the three newborns. "This is Jaden" Willow said helping Lauryn hold him "and that is Jules" she pointed at the baby in Clary's arms. "How do you know which is which?" she asked innocently and they were stumped. Looking at them Jules and Jaden were identical down to the placement of the Herondale scar on their shoulders; even Will and Rae's were off a few centimeters. Cassidy gave them wristbands that she had created when she found out she was having twin girls; one was white and the other black and they fit perfectly on the boys tiny wrist. "Jaden wore the black one and Jules the white and the bracelets would expand as they grew. The babies were hugged, kissed and passed around and finally Willow and Jocelyn got to see the new nursery. The room was in between the two couples room and had a door leading right into their parents room. Fallon's side of the room was white and pink and the blue flowed into the boys side beautifully; the cribs were white with protection runes etched into them. "It's beautiful" Jocelyn said kissing Magnus's cheek, Willow too. They put the sleeping children to rest with Ryn watching over them protectively "time to go to bed angel" Luca said picking Ryn up and kissing her forehead. "Can I sleep with them?" she whined. "How about you sleep with us" Willow offered and she agreed. Magnus also gave them baby monitors tuned to only their baby's cry and everyone went off to bed after the grandparents came to say goodnight.

Epilogue

Emily woke in a in a cold dark room the smell of burnt flesh and ash filled her nostrils. "Sarah Ravenclaw" an icy voice said. She strained her eyes in the darkness looking for it's owner but she couldn't see anymore than a shadow in the corner. "You feel the pain that my ruler has felt on more than one occasion. Clarissa and Willow Herondale took away her sons and now Willow has taken away your mate but if you help me I can help you take him back."

"What are you talking about, who are you?"

"Join me and find out... I can give you the strength to reclaim what is yours but in return you must kill the Herondales and Morgensterns and commit yourself to serving me "

"Why me?"

"Because your strength and your weakness are one and the same. They all had a weakness Valentine's was Jocelyn, Sebastian's was Clarissa then Willow, Jonathan's was Isabelle but you are different, Luca fuels you not the opposite. Like Luca Lilith's blood will run through your veins and will give you the strength over your enemies; you and Luca could live unharmed in my new world together" Emily thought about the offer. With Willow gone for good Luca would finally be hers, she'd gladly hand Lauryn and the rest of their brats over to Lilith then she and Luca could have their own children; after seeing the life she'd always wanted flash before her eyes she agreed. "This process will take a great deal of time but will be well worth it."

"How did you know my real name... who are you?"

"I know your name because I gave it to you" Emily's eyes widened at the sight of the man standing before her. Short, tanned, ink black hair and pitch black eyes. "Dad!"
