This story will present insecurities of the twins but in different ways. This story is after the princes return to Ayodhya after the Gurukul. Shatrughna and Bharath leave for kaikeya whereas Ram lakshman stay in Ayodhya. Ram and Bharath give less attention to Lakshman and Shatrughna, Ram starts to spend more time with Dashrath and Bharath spends most of his time in painting. Lakshman a d Shatrughna start to fear that their elder brother's might start to distance themselves.
~Ayodhya~
L: Ram bhaiyya chalie na hum bagia mai jate hain!!
R: Nahi lakshman mujhe pitaji ne bulaya hai!
L: Kyoo?
R: Wo mujhe Rajsi karyabhar sikhana chahte hain.
L(pouting): thik hai bhaiyya parantu ratri aap jarur aaiyega hum jaenge.
R: Haan lakshman, ab jane bhi do mujhe
L: ji bhaiyya jaie.
~At 🌃 night~
Ram returned to the room late at night 🌃, till then Lakshman had slept and next day he(Ram) was supposed to go to the forest's with Dashrath.
~Kaikeya (🌃 night)~
Sh: Bhaiyyaaaaaaaa chalie na hum bahar jate hain!
Bh(trying to tease): Nahi shatru mujhe chitrakari karni atipriya hai aur mai use tumse adhik maan deta hu!
Shatrughna got quite offended hearing this.
Sh(angry): Bhaiyya ap ye mat bhulie aap aaj mere hi wajah se ye chitrakari kar rhe hain!!
Saying this he stormed out off the room leaving Bharath.
Bh: Koi baat nahi ajaega punaha mai tab tak apna chitra purn karlunga.
Here Shatrughna was feeling scared that he may loose his Bharath bhaiyya.
~Ayodhya~( dining table)
L:Maa Ram bhaiyya kaha hai?
S: Are putra wo to savere hi maharaj ke sath van ke lie nikal gya tha.
L(disappointed): Thik hai maa🙁
S: Aao nashta kar lo.
L: ji maa
Lakshman ate the breakfast unwillingly. He knew Ram had eaten breakfast without him, which for him was a disappointed because ram never ate breakfast without Lakshman.
In kaikeya the same was happening.
That day Lakshman and Shatrughna spent their whole day in their rooms they only came out for lunch or dinner.
~Night~
R: Lakshmannnn!!! Bahar aao na!
Hearing Ram's calls lakshman came running out as a little baby comes hearing the calls of his mother.
L(in excitement): ji bhaiyya!!
R: Dekho mai kya laya hun!! He showed lakshman a beautiful shining diamond!
R: Mujhe ye van mai mila!
L: Aree wahhhh bhaiyya bohot acha hai ye!
L: Apne bhojan kia bhaiyya?
R: Haan lakshman van mai kitne swadisht phal mile hume! Tumne kia?
L: Ji bhaiyya
Lakshman lied to his brother, he felt ignored, and ashamed of himself he felt he wasn't a good brother that is why Ram was distancing himself, which wasn't true. In kaikeya even Shatrughna felt ignored and was hurt,Shatrughna didn't understand what to do.
That night when Lakshman was pressing Ram's feet he shed tears silently. Suddenly a hand brushed on his cheeks.
R: Lakshman tum ro rahe ho!! Kya hua!!
Lakshman could only sob harder hearing Ram's concern.
Lakshman finally spoke: Bhaiyya mujhe kshama kar dijie maine apko dukhaya hai na islie aap mujhse rusht hai na mujhe kshama kar dijie bhaiyya.
Ram then understood that he was unintentionally ignoring lakshman.
R: oh lakshman I have teribbly neglected you in the past few days and it has ended in such dark thoughts.
Ram hugged lakshman tightly as to not go of him forever.
