It was the birthday of the twins, but both twins didn't even remember it was their birthday! Shatrughna was too much busy in the affairs of Ayodhya and Lakshman was busy guarding ram and Sita, but all coincidences were weird shatrughna wore the angavsatra the twins had in common and Lakshman was remembering the moments how Shatrughna and he used to prank their wives, brothers and parents. He was remembering shatrughna more than he remberred his wife. In the afternoon all dishes were made of the twins favourite.
Sh: Aree aaj itna sab kuch bas mere aur lakshman bhaiyya ke pasand ka aaj kya khas hai?
S: Tumhe yaad nahi shatrughna?!
Sh: Nahi maa kyu par aaj kya hai? Ram bhaiyya ka janamdin, nahi wo toh parso tha na! Bharath bhaiyya ka janamdin, wo toh kal tha! To phir aaj kya hai?
K: Shatrughna!! Aaj tumhara aur lakshman ka janamdin hai!!
Shatrughna's face fell as he thought of his twin in the jungles eating berries and fruits.
Sh: Ohh acha!
In the forest
L: Bhabhi aaj rassam banai hai? Aaj kya khas hai?
S,R in unison: Tumhe yaad nahi lakshman?!
L: Nahi bhaiyya, bhabhi! Kyu? Ram bhaiyya ka janamdin hai, wo to parso tha na! Bharath bhaiyya ka janamdin, wo to kal tha na! To phir aaj kya hai?!!
R(horrified): Lakshman tumhe sach mai yaad nahi?!
L(confused): Nahi bhaiyya sach mai mujhe nahi yaad!
S: Lakshman!! Aaj tumhara aur shatrughna ka janamdin hai!
Lakshman's eyes had a tint of hurt but also a smile on his face at the thought of his twin, the shatrughna who loved to team up with his elder twin and pranking everyone, the shatrughna he knew.
L: Hmm..Uh bhabhi mai ata hun aap dono bhojan kar lijiye

Sumitra smiled she knew shatrughna missed his elder twin, she even knew that lakshman also missed his twin. She filled shatrughna's plate with food and handed him the plate and he ran to the chamber.
Laksh-shatru mental conversation
L: Tum khush ho na shatru?
Sh: Nahi bhaiyya apki bohot yaad aa rahi hain
L: Hmm... Mujhe bhi, bhojan kia tumne?
Sh: Kar raha hun bhaiyya, pata hai apki aur meri man pasand ke mishthan aur bhog banaya hai
L: Acha tumhe to bohot pasand ata hai na bhog to jaldi kyu nahi kha rahe
Sh: Mai kyu khau aap jab waha van mai phal wagra kha rahe hain
L: Hehe... Tumhe pata hai bhabhi ne rassam banayi hai
Sh: Haww bhaiyya kitne gande hai aap! Mujhe chodkar rassam khaenge
Lakshman laughed hearing this.
L: koi baat nahi shatru mujhe aane mai ek hi varsh ka saval hai, mai aane ke bad banwa lena bhabhi se jitni chaho utni rassam
Sh: Are are bilkul banwaunga hakk hai wo mera!
Lakshman let out a chuckle
L: Achha ab mujhe jane do shatru
Sh: Haan bhaiyya mujhe bhi jana hoga
With this they cut their mental conversation lakshman returned to the hut and shatrughna returned to the court. Lakshman didn't know that Ram had seen him.
R: Kaha gaye the tum?
L: Kuch nahi nadi ke paas gya tha
R: Aur kisse baat kar rahe the?
Lakshman looked at ram confused
R: Maine dekha lakshman tum kisise baat kar rahe the
Lakshman smiled and said: Shatrughna se
Ram smiled and patted his back.
R: Acha chalo aao rassam kha lo
L: Ji bhaiyya
Lakshman ate the rassam remembering the mental conversation he had with his small twin shatrughna. Lakshman hummed for the first time in a long time it was as if shatrughna's energy was passed to him.
