Chapter 22 and 23!!!!!!!!

Chapter Twenty Two

“Shin-sama, welcome back. Your parents said to call them once you return back from school.”

“Alright, thank you. Call me down when it is time for dinner.” My butler bows and I hurry to my room. It has been a year since I moved to America. Ever since I left no one has been able to find Jin. Shika went to visit his home since we heard nothing from him and not even his group knew where he was. So they are looking for him while I study in America.

I will not lie, I do still love him, and I do miss him. But I am slowly starting to learn how to live without him being by my side every day.

“Mother, sorry I am calling you so early. What did you need?”

“Shin… We found Jin.”

“That’s good.” I sigh in relief. “Is that all, I really have to do my work.”

“No, Shin… He is in a coma.”

My heart sinks and it is as if the world has disappeared under my feet. “What?”

“The doctors want you to come down. They want you to be here. Stimulating his senses with a lover one can help him wake.”

“Mother, I am not his lover. Find some women in his group. Get his fiancé. You don’t need me. I have to go.”

“Shin! Watch yourself…”

“I’m sorry mother. I can’t do it though. Give everyone my love. Good bye.” I hang up quickly and fall onto my bed. A year I have been trying to forget. “He always appears back into my life at the worst times.” I sigh and prepare my butler.

I’m doing this for Jin, Shika, Tiso, and their baby.

Chapter Twenty Three

It feels as if I haven’t been home in ten years, though it has only been one. Things have changed. I called my mother back and told her I was coming, but to not tell anyone else. I won’t be staying long.

We pull up to the hospital in the limousine and my butler hands me flowers. “Thank you… I will call you when to pick me up.”

“Yes Shin-sama.”

I walk in to the hospital quickly and am shown to the private room. Jin lies on the bed lifeless and the closer I get the more feelings I have been suppressing well up inside of me. I lay the flowers in a chair and sit on the side of him grabbing his cold hand. It is like he is dead, not in a coma.

“Are you Shin-san?” A deep voice asks making me jump. I back away from Jin quickly dropping his hand. “I am doctor Kilo. Don’t worry, I am aware of the situation and I am not discriminate to gay couples.” I blush and look down.

“Why exactly is he in a coma doctor?”

“Well no one is sure at the moment. He was found on the side of a road beaten and drunk. But he was already in a coma at that time so as of right now the only thing we can do is wait for him to wake and hopefully he is okay.”

“How long has he been in a coma?”

“About five months.”

The only thing I am thinking is why wasn’t I told sooner. Me guessing the doctor picks up on that he explains to me. “We found him and treated him immediately. We had no idea who he was and that alone took three months. We soon found his sister and your family. We didn’t know if he would make it this far so we suggested they tell you when they were ready.”

“Will he make it?”

“We don’t know.” We stand in silence and the room becomes stuffy. “It is hard to lose someone you love; maybe they were trying to be strong while telling you.”

“Mmm…”

“If you need anything, please ask and I will see what I can do. This is a private room paid by your family so you can stay as long as you want. I will send someone to check on him later.” He bows not knowing what to say next and leaves.

I sit back down next to Jin and take his hand. “I can’t help loving you no matter what you do Jin. Why am I this way?” I close my eyes while putting his hand to my cheek. One silent tear falls from Jin’s eye. “What are you thinking Jin?”

About three hours later a nurse comes followed by Shika and Tiso waking me. “Sorry to wake you up. I just need to check his IV.”

“Mmm…” I yawn and stretch when arms go around me and a kiss is planted on my head.

“Shin! I missed you so much! Thank god you are here.”

I hug Shika with a laugh. “I missed you guys too. How are you, and the baby?”

“We are all doing well; I am just so glad you came. He will definitely recover quickly with you here.”

I laugh. “Shika, me being here won’t change much. I came because I wanted to help you out. And I need to see the baby! I was only able to visit once.”

“He is with your parents right now. They insisted we came here, didn’t expect you to be here.”

“Yeah… I didn’t want a whole bunch of people finding out, especially since I won’t be here too long.”

“Are you going to wait till he wakes?”

“I don’t know Shika, I don’t know if I can see him while he is awake.”

She just nods and picks up the flowers. “These are beautiful, did you bring them?”

“Yes, they are his favorite. It is the least I can do.” She puts them in a vase beside his bed and sits. It is so awkward I can’t take it.

“I want to stay longer, but we need to leave. Come by the house later, alright? I mean, it is your home.” I nod and we hug goodbye.

Once again I sit alone in the room holding his hand. I call my butler and he arrives soon with the vehicle. “The things you do to me Jin…” I kiss his head gently as if in just a whisper he will disappear. “I will see you tomorrow. Be well…”
