Chapter Eleven

After I finish showering I dress in Jin’s shirt and boxers. I slowly walk out of the bathroom and find Jin talking with his sister. They look at me immediately and I see Jin in how I have never seen him before. Tonight I have seen a new side of him I never thought I would see.

Jin stands up and leaves the room. A few minutes later there are a few bangs and Shika looks at the ground. “What’s wrong Shika?”

She says something quietly. I question her again with a sense of fear in my heart. “He’s leaving. WAIT SHIN! COME BACK!”

I don’t know what I am planning to do when I see him, but I can’t let it end like this. “JIN!” I find my way out and a strong cold breeze hits me. There is nothing left. I fall to the ground in tears and Shika is soon at my side hugging me. “Why Shika?”

“I’m sorry Shin. It’s okay, so please don’t cry.”

“I can’t take this Shika. It hurts too much.”

“I know, I’m so sorry. I know how much you love him, it’s okay. I know you will see him again, I know you will.” I look to her for a second and she has doubt in her eyes. “Let’s go home.”

“No. Not yet. He won’t run away from me this time. Where is he going? I know you were talking about something.” She is quiet and I yell. “SHIKA LISTEN TO ME! I DON’T CARE IF NONE OF THIS MATTERS TO YOU!”

“Shin…”

“I just need to hear him talk to me one more time. I’ll give up, I will try. But I need to talk to him, please Shika. I abandoned everything for this. You are all I have right now.” She hands me a tissue as I cry and rubs my back.

“But Shin…”

“We’ll do it.” A deep male voice says. I look up to see who it is and Shika glares.

“This is my husband.” She says before I can say or ask anything. “Do you really want to do this?”

He gets on a knee in front of me and smiles slightly. “We will help you find Jin. He probably needs to sort his feelings out so he is running.” He takes of his jacket and puts out his cigarette.

“Wear this for now, it is cold outside.”

I take the jacket and put it on. I sneeze and start coughing. My throat is soar. “You aren’t use to all of this Shin. You grew up in a home where you didn’t have to fight, and never had to do anything besides school. You don’t have to work, you haven’t done all we have. You are a rich boy and heir to a company that is the third largest in the world. You shouldn’t be here. We need to go home.”

“No. I already gave up everything. I want to see this to the end. I just have to thank him for everything he has done for me. When I thank him I will go home and never bother with any of you again. If you continue to insist I will find someone else to help. If you turn me in and they take me home I will run away as many times as it takes. You need to understand how important this is to me Shika.”

We are all quiet for a while when Shika sighs. “Fine… He will hate me for this though. I expect a big reward for helping you…”
