Chapter 27

Chapter Twenty Seven

"How much money do you plan to waste coming back and forth like this Shin? You don't even want to be here." My mother and father scold me at the airport before smiling and hugging me.

"How is he?"

"He's the same as always, but we have had movements and such. I think he really needs to hear your voice." Mother smiles at me with sympathy.

"I really need to see him." I hug her again. "I am sorry I didn't turn out the way you wanted me to. And I am sorry I can never love anyone other than this one man. Can you forgive me for that?"

"Of course we still love you. It wasn't exactly what we had planned, but it is your life. We can't change who you are." Mother says to me seriously.

"Will you guys accept him and I?" My mother kisses my head and my father nods his head.

"We did a long time ago." He says with a seemed to be choked up voice. I laugh and hug them one more time, wiping my eye, before we leave the airport and head to the hospital.

"We haven't seen you in a while Shin-san. How are you?"

"I am good. I had to return to America momentarily, but I think I will be back for a little while. How is Jin?"

"He is fantastic; he can wake any day now."

"Thank you. And I am sorry about the sudden argument between me and the women a few weeks ago. I hope we didn't disturb you guys."

"It's okay. Some things need to be said. But you seem better
now."

"Yeah..."

"So, you can see him now. Don't worry if he squeezes your hand or moves. But if he does get one of us immediately. If he wakes press the yellow button and we will come. If something bad happens press the red."

"Okay, thank you." I walk into the room and sit in a chair next to him. "Hey Jin. Sorry I came back so late. I thought about things. Me assuming things without asking shows my immaturity. I know now that you have an explanation. But out of everything, I want you to wake up so I can hug you." I grab his hand and kiss it lightly. "I really missed you Jin. Lani was right, I will always love you. No matter how hard I try I will never be able to move on. I only want and need you. I am sorry for putting you through this, so please wake up soon."

His lips look so soft, and the touch is smooth. I look over his body with a smile. His hair is so long... Now thinking back, he really has caused my life to be an uproar. Not having that in my life is a world I don't want to live in.

"Shin."

I look up and Lani is standing by the door. I stand up. "Lani."

"I wanted to apologize for how I acted last time. Your parents talked to me and told me everything. Then I looked back at all the clues. You know how pregnant women are right? We make big mistakes."

"Pregnant... You?"

"Yes I am. Eleven weeks."

"Who is the father?"

"What if I said it was Jin?"

I say nothing. "I still won't let you have him. He is mine."

"Since when do you own him?"

"I don't own him, but I do love him. Even if he were to no longer love me I wouldn't give up. I will find a way to make him love me again."

She smiles and closes her eyes. "So strong willed; that is the Shin I know..." She starts laughing and she hugs me quickly. "He isn't the father. Don't worry. While I do watch over him, I am married. He is someone who doesn't love anyone other than me and our child. I am just a, what you would call... Vice president of our group."

I think a sigh of relief exits my mouth unwillingly making her laugh. "Well, what you said also showed me the truth. I can face up to everything now and I am not afraid. So I would like to thank you."

She nods and sits down in a chair next to mine. "I am glad he has you Shin. No one is better for him than you."

"Thank you Lani, I honestly appreciate that. I just hope he thinks the same thing after this."

"Trust me Shin, he will."
