Chapter Twenty Eight ~~~~
"Jin. Come here, look at this." Shin says laughing brightly. In my eyes he is my everything. He shines brighter than the sun.
"What is it Shin?"
"The kids are all in the courtyard." I look over and my sisters kid is playing with ours we adopted. A few of their friends are over as well.
I wrap my arms around Shin and he smiles. His ring shines from the reflection of the sun. We got married in America before returning home.
"Hey you two." Shin's parents smile up at us and call us down for tea. "We wanted to take the kids somewhere, do you mind?"
"I don't care." Shin answers quickly and dives into the snacks. "Kids, come eat!"
I sit down next to Shin and the kids. "Where are they going?"
"It's a surprise." Shin's mother winks and scurries off to the kitchen. It was a lot to get here.
"Pregnant... You?"
"Yes I am."
"Who is the father?"
"What if I said it was Jin?"
"I still won't let you have him. He is mine."
"Since when do you own him?"
"I don't own him, but I do love him. Even if he were to no longer
love me I wouldn't give up. I will find a way to make him love me again."
"So strong willed; that is the Shin I know... He isn't the father. Don't worry. While I do watch over him, I am married. He is someone who doesn't love anyone other than me and our child. I am just a, what you would call... Vice president of our group."
"Well, what you said also showed me the truth. I can face up to everything now and I am not afraid. So I would like to thank you."
"I am glad he has you Shin. No one is better for him than you."
"Thank you Lani, I honestly appreciate that. I just hope he thinks the same thing after this."
"Trust me Shin, he will."
