Chapter Seven

“Shin, hurry up!”

I run trying to catch up with Jin’s sister. For a woman, she is very fast. Then again she is in the mafia… I shudder in remembrance. We are now running to catch a train to Tokyo Japan. It is a two day ride and I am paying. But it’s worth it to see Jin.

“SHIN!”

“I’m coming…” I sigh and catch my breath as we sit down in the seats. She looks at me and begins to laugh. “What is it?”

“You’re funny. This trip will be fun.” We sit in silence once she calms down and the train starts.

“Do you know where he is?” She stops smiling and has a distance look. “Do you?”

“I don’t know where he is, exactly. But I know of the area.”

“Why didn’t you tell me before?” I say quietly making sure to stay quiet and not draw attention while showing I am angry.

“I didn’t think you were going to do and say what you did. He told me if you did anything crazy to look for you and look out for you, and I am. He doesn’t want me bringing you but I know you won’t give up. I can see it in your eyes.”

“So where is he?”

“Somewhere in Tokyo Japan. Other details I do not know.”

I can’t say anything. But I am so happy that he thought of me when he left.

We finally arrive and get into a hotel. After she insists we share a room we finally do. She is very expensive let me say. Not only was she over three hundred dollars for a ticket every twelve hours, she rented the honeymoon suite and made me sleep on the floor.

I woke up grouchy and angry. I was so use to having my butler I didn’t wake till she threw a bucket of water on me. You would understand if you were me.

“We will eat breakfast and then go shopping.”

“With whose money?” I ask and she winks. In the end we do as she says and spend five thousand plus dollars. I mutter under my breath. “Thankfully I am a millionaire.”

She laughs louder like a lunatic and we get a few fun looks from people. I smile slightly, she is a little fun. Definitely more outgoing than Jin.

But Jin was quiet and mysterious, and though he acts as though he cares about nothing, he has kind eyes and is very understanding. He is a question you will stop at nothing to find the answer of. He doesn’t tell me everything, but I can trust him with my life. Even if I can only ever be just his friend, I will always love him.
