Jake's pov-
We found Caity a day after the battle she was just sitting there shaking stareing into space .
"Caity " i shake her "caity where is the baby . she looks me in the eye and lets me in to what happened all her memories flood into me .
Caity's POV - from when it happened
I run around looking for something when I feel a tap on my shoulders I sigh "thank go-" I stare at the face horrified "Christian" I mouth as he hits me over the head all goes black

I wake up in a daze in extreme pain someone is yelling at me to push so I do I push and feel a sudden relief I look up to see my baby girl smiling at me with beaitful light blue eyes they let me hold her for a three seconds, the lady looks at me with sad eyes and i know she isn't part of my pack she slowly pulls away my child as I cry uncontrolably "no please " i weakly cry out they give her to Christan I look at him and see it in his eyes .
he looks at me an smiles and I know "name her violet please " he shakes his head but nodds "i do not want to do this cait this was your aunts plan and as her son i had to do it " he teasinly waves violet in my face "she wanted me too kill it but i can not do that i will spare the childs life at one cost " you will not get to see her grow up i will let her free at 17 i will care for her claim her as my own i am truly sorry but this is all i can do " he makes her wave good bye and she smiles my baby just smiled at me
POV over --
I scream out in a fit of rage "nooooooo" I punch a tree and it comes crashing down in a thunderous boom showing the whole world what has been taken from me i howl out in pain my beaitful child why ,why "what did she look like " i sit next to my heart broken mate ,as i am torn apart too i just lost my dad ,my beta and now my child my mother was saved thankfully "she has light blue eyes such beautiful eyes they were just like yours " she holds her heart as she thinks "she smiled at me Jake ,she smiled and I didn't even get to smile back our baby won't know who we are Jake I'm so scared " she sobs out and howls to the moon" why would you let this happen " she screams at the moon she gets up using all her strength and punches the ground shaking the earth the bond between a mother and child is stronger than a mates every wolf knows that I back away as her eyes turn a black I have never seen she aches her back and painfully howls into the sky before falling into the ground and crawling into a fetal position I huddle in close to her and hold her together tonight the whole pack now knows the night before as "the stolen war".

Cait has been bed ridden for a week everyone is sad and depressed but we have rebuild our pack and today is the remembering ceremony .
"Today we remember those we have lost in the recent weeks ,how they have fought, how they have lived , and to remember the great they have done for this pack as we lay them to rest ,I shalt now read out the names of the victims "
Only two of the names I have read out I hear " john O'Conner and Steve barber " I then read out a little bit about each person "john ,my father was a brave man he looked into the eyes of our attackers and with no fear stood face to face with him ,i was there when he died stabed in heart he lay there and told me he was proud of me , proud of this pack he proud to die for his pack " a silent tear ran down my face i quickly wiped it away " now steve ,steve was a man i knew well he has been our beta for over nine months and i am proud to say he did this pack good ,that night he saved all our pups and his little brother who will gracously stands in his place when the time Comes steve saved the future of this pack now here to say a few words is the young kaiden his brother " kaiden is only 5 but he really wanted to talk about Steve ,he saved his little brother and me he jumped in front on a knife to save me and his brother "hi I'm kaiden and steveie is my Big brother "he says with a large smile on his face " i love steve and he loved me. Ever since mommy left us he always looked after me he knew juat what to say ,now steve is gone too " he bows down his head trying not to show the tears even though tears stained my face " steve loved ice cream and the playstaion he loves helping people ,but when he got the call he was being bumped up from third to beta he was never so happy I mean no one can smile that big as he did that day ,I love you Steve " he finishes with everyone crying out in pain losing any menber of a pack is painfull but this many is unbelievable we lost 20 in total and as I said no pups were lost except violet " now can we all bow our heads at the respect of our lost one violet the baby princess you don't know my child I won't see grow up " it was a minute of silence altogether when it ended every one was in tears I crawled into my room and lay beside her we both holding each other together .
