Chapter 3

A few hours after Lexis death-National city

Kara

The tall blonde woman was standing on top of the building.She watched her place,her home,the biggest secret that the humanity have ever seen.More then 500 survivors,all together in peace.She let out a little sight,she felt happy for a moment.Then she felt the letter in her hand,a scream for help,and she knew she cant enjoy this peace very long.Even if she knew the words she decided to read the short letter again:

Zor El,

The situation is dangerous,i fear that we will lose StarCity soon.The Reign wont let us live peaceful.I beg you for your help,we are 50 people here and we are hard working.You told me once that we will always have a home in National City,I hope you havent changed your mind yet?I will talk to my people in a few days,I will ask them if we fight or escape!In case we all escape i know where to find you,but in case we fight i probably wont survive.If this happens,i need you to search for survivors.I beg you,find my people,and if no one is left,then get revenge for me.Zor El,i never knew your real name but i know you are a woman of honor.

Zor El,thats what Lexi knew about her.She should have listened to her,when the blonde woman offered her to come with her an month ago.They met during a hunt.Well actually they nearly killed each other,but they were really alike.Both of them fighted well, both of them,the younger sister that is in the lead.Both of them with a lot of responsibilities or their age. After a while they realized that none of them was a member of Reign.

They started to talk,even if both of them were distrustful.Thats why Kara never told her her real name.For Lexi she was Zor El til the end.

Well Kara is Zor El,the leader of National city,but she is also Kara Danvers,a good and kind person.She regretted deeply that she never told Lexi her real name.She felt like she would never have the chance to introduce the leader of Metropolis to the lovely dork Kara Danvers.

Kara looked down and stared at the piece of paper in her hand.She made a decision.

About 30 minuts ago Alex found a women outside in the jungle.You saw that the woman went through hell.Her eyes were wide opened and she trembled,even if it was really hot in the jungle.Her face was burned and she mumbled something that no one really understood.Alex was with her and that is good she was able to protect her.Kara wanted to talk to this woman.She hurried to the Medical cave.

The light fell into the cave and it shined in a warm,comfy orange light.The plants hanging on the wall were one of the strongest plants that existed,as a reminder that the strongest people will alway try to safe your life in this cave.

Kara walked into the cave and found her sister, holding the woman they found in the woods.The woman made a terrible impression,but not because her face was burned or her face was dirty or her hair was felty.She looked empty.Her body was here,but she was gone.Dead inside."Alex?How are you?" She gave her sister a hug and as she realized Alex was good she talked to the stranger:"And you? Are you hurt Miss...?" She looked at the woman and waited for an answer.The woman not even looked up.

Alex shook her head.She said not a single word since we found her.Kara understood what Alexs look meant.They learned to talk without theit mouth.

Kara speaked soft and tried to sound calm:"Miss are you from Metropolis?"The woman nodded. Alex gave her an encouraging smile and whispered:" You know we want to help,we want to find survivers.Can you give us any information.Or can you at least tell me your name?I am Alex Danvers and i am really glad i found you out there."

When the woman spoke this single little word,her voice sounded broken."Sam"Then she closed her mouth again and closed her eyes.She looked incredibly tired.

She crashed down and leaned on Alex."Shhhh Shhhh"Alex caress her back and gave Kara another look.Enough.She will not be helpful and this will be a torture for her.

Kara understood and cant stop a little smile sneaking into her face.Alex,the hard trainer and the person that educated the whole city in fighting,so soft for this "Sam" is one of the things that reminded Kara that nothing is at it seemed from the first impression.

As Kara was about to walk out again,Sam broke her silence again:" They are all dead.It was the Reign.They came and attacked us.They had no Mercy for anyone.Not even for the K-K" She stopped the sentence."For the Kids?" Kara asked gently.

Sam swallowed ,her dry throat made a weird sound.Alex stood up and said:"I am gonna get you water,wait a second"and walked to the rusty tip at the other end of the cave.

Kara felt so sorry for this woman,that lost everything,her home,her friends,her family.

However,no matter how glad she would be to stay here with Sam and help her heal,she had to find other survivers.Alex had Karas trust and she knew that Alex could help her fight back into her life.Kara herself have to keep a promise she gave Lexi.They promised each other to help in a situation like that,and Zor El was not a person who breaked promises easily.

"JAAAAMES" Kara called for her guard, she was a bit stressed out. They lost time, and time has the highest worth in this times.He walked to her."Yes Zor El? Is there any problem"he scanned the enviroment with a skeptical look.

"James i told you its Kara!"She rolled her eyes."Go and get 2 of your best man.We are going on an rescue mission." He looked confused."Excuse me Zor El,WE?"Kara was annoyed.Why cant he just do what he is asked for? She turned around without answering his question."I will get the weapons,just call your team." She walked away and let the guard alone.He looked after her and began to laugh."Rescue...pfff,the Reign never leave anyone alive" 

But he did what he was asked for and not 10 minutes later the team,including the 3 guards and Kara herself walked into the unknown.
