Chapter 25

Lena

She looked around and saw the whole thing collapse.The huge cave shivered and broke down with a loud crack.In the last moments someone came out of the huge iron door that was the entrance once.It was this old lady that Lena already hated from the very first moment she saw her.She had this aura,manipulative and devious,Lena felt this from the very first moment even if they never speaked one word to each other.

Now this lady climbed out of the rubble,covered in dust, a few scuffs all over her body and a small wound above her left eyebrow,covering her face in her own blood.She looked scary.But the worst was that her smart,devious eyes now glanced in some terrifying note of insanity.But that was a thing that only Lena noticed.

The Reign members got excited and for them,now they had their leader back, it was a big faciliate to know none of them had to take responsibillity now.The whole group of Reign seemed weak-minded and not able to built their own opinion.They just got led in the wrong direction.Lena saw them as ill-manered,sassy children, whos mum was a total psychopath.

The woman made her way through the crowd now,one side watched in disgust,the other side in admiration.Nearly like a goddess they watched her as she began her speech.

"Dear Reign,we got robbed,betrayed by our own member.Lexi Luthor, once our hero and protector from Zor El turned against us.She took away our home,she made our cave collapse."

Silence came over the woods.Both sides listened carefully,it was as if the forest itself hold its breath.Lena looked around to search for her sister.Of course Lexi was a good person,it was never her who did that horrible things back then in National City.Lena wanted to hold her little sister in her arms and tell her how proud she was of the woman that Lexi became.She looked through the crowd while holding Karas hand still,but Kara was a bit distracted in fact she carried her own sister on her shoulders now,Alex was just to hurt to stand on her own feet.

Lena saw the Danvers sisters and felt this urge to be with her own sister now.She finally was able to forgive Lexi and Lexi would finally get the love from her that she always deserved ,it was a hard way but finally they would be sisters,real sisters.She searched but Lexis face was not there.She looked all of the ppl around her in the face,staring a little to long, but none of them had Lexis way to move, not the special look in her green eyes.A weird feeling grew inside Lena.

And then when the woman continued the speech she started lately the blood in Lenas veins freezed:

"Lexi Luthor paid for what she did.She paid with her own life and i wished she would have suffered more.She was inside the cave when it collapsed,she caused this all with our own TNT.But Reign... we are not done,not beaten,not weak in any way.We will fight, we will get revenge for what this traitor did.And we can completely erase the Luthors name out of this world,then we will be free from them.There is her sister,standing right in our mid,feeling save...She is not!Reign,ATTACK! FOR OUR HOME,FOR REVENGE!"

While the words of this woman reached Lenas ears her world turned upside down.She felt as if the time slowed again,just as in the horrible night where she lost Kara.Of course she was not scared that the Reign wanted to kill her,she couldnt care less about this fact at the moment.It was the next loss,the next time where the universe decided to punch her into the face.

But this time Kara was right next to her,holding her hand,pushing it so hard that it was nearly uncomfortable.However this hand was everything that kept her sane for this moment.It was her home,her only way to feel safe.

Lexi was gone.Not only that,she sacrificed herself to take away power from the Reign,she also made this last goodbye to Lena in her last moments,when they saw each other.She told Lena that she loved her,and that she tried to not be the villan any longer.When she thought about the situation now,she felt as if someone was stabbing her chest over and over again.She shouldve noticed the fear in her voice,she shouldve stopped her...
