Chapter 13

Kara

When Kara woke up again she was tied on a chair,the room in which she were trapped was dark and had not a single window.The only way in or out was a huge dark iron door.It was wet in this room and smelled as if something died here before.Kara saw that there were weird things stucking on her chest and also on her head,but she never saw anything like that before.

A big machine stood in front of her,and cables led to the stucking things on her chest and head.It made some weird noises,beeping and fizzleing.Kara started to worry,she was not stupid and of course was this the way they wanted to break her.The both men said it as they carried her.She will get tortured.She searched if there was any possibillity to escape but the rope that tied her through the chair was really strong and so she tried to move with the chair.Then the door opened.

It was Lexi,she looked bored and as if she really doesnt care what Kara was trying to do there. She slowly walked over to Kara and slapped her in the face.Simple without any emotion showing on her face."Dont do that again,ohh strong Zor El" Her voice was mocking.

Karas cheek burned from the hit,it was not painful,not really,but humiliating as hell.Lexi seemed as if she really liked this look on Karas face,seeing the pain and the shame gave her in some weird,wrong way a good feeling.A feeling of strength and control.

"Soo Zor El,I will explain you what we are going to do here,ok?I will help you see the right way,alright?"

Kara looked at her,searching for the Lexi she knew once."You mean the right way like yours,burning down citys,killing innocent people,living a live without kindness, without mercy?No thank you."then Karas voice became softer,sad:"Ohh Lexi,what did they do to you" she looked Lexi in the eyes,thinking about the yellow shining."I knew you once and i know that you are not evil,you are a good person deep down"

Lexis suddenly hitted Karas jaw withher fist,Kara saw stars and tasted her own blood."You know absolutely nothing,stop with your lies,or this will be more painful then it should.I am who I am,no going back for me."

A flash in lexis mind, how she broke the neck of this little girl,she was innocent and never deserved that.She took that live for no reason.And for a little moment,only one or two seconds,her eyes blinked in their beautiful green." Ohh my god I killed her."She was shocked.

Kara looked up,she spat blood on the floor."Who,you killed who?"panic in her voice.If Lexi killed Lena...no that was not it,Kara felt Lena on her way to this place.Maybe it was imagination,something her brain invented for her to stay awake but Kara was sure she felt Lenas whisper.

Lexis eyes were yellow and cold again:"Ooop,i havent told you yet,have I?"Lexi put her hand on Karas chin,it was still a little bit of blood on her lips." I-protected-a-child-from-beeing-manipulated." She threw the words into Karas face, her smile grew brighter and brighter with each syllable.What Kara doesnt saw was a really small look of guilt.

Kara was smart enough to know what child she meant,she felt anger and fear rose inside her:"What did you do to Ruby?" she pressed out.
Lexi smiled,proud of herself:"Lets say she is on a better place now,i sent her there!"

All blood faded away from Karas face,she felt her stomach protesting."Please dont let it be what i think she meant,please,let her be kidnapped or something,anything"She sent this words as a small prayer out into the universe.But as Lexi continued,Kara knew it was to late for any prayer.

"I exactly remember how easy it was to break her neck...Rubys i mean,that was her name,right?."Lexi only said that to hurt Kara-and it worked.Kara screamed into her face:" YOU KILLED A CHILD;AN INNOCENT KINDHEARTED CHILD!YOU ARE A MONSTER!LEXI LUTHOR,YOU ARE NOT WORTH TO EVEN SAY HER NAME WITH YOUR WORTHLESS MOUTH.
