Chapter 20

Lena

The Jungle around them was wide and silent.That was quiet scary because the jungle never stops its noise normally.Lena followed Alex who was a few footsteps in front of her.They have to be there soon,they started their journey early in the morning and now it was late afternoon.The training with Alex was really useful,Lena was tired but not that tired.She had enough power to go on and fight.Fight to get Kara back.That was Lenas biggest problem,she needs a clear mind for sneaking into this whatever they will find.But Lenas stupid heart distrackted her,the thought that she will see Kara soon, that she will smell her, hold her in her arms and will tell her that everything will be ok, that fact made her heartbeat speed up and bump hard against her chest.Even if it was the biggest cliquee ever her tummy felt as if a million butterflys are flying around in there.That feeling always was paired with anxiety,what they did to Kara and that they "changed" her as James said.And with this thought Lena was distracted as she bumped into Alex,who suddenly stood still and stopped walking.

"Lena are you alright?" Alex whispered to her and then saw how Lena looked to the ground."Lee its ok thinking about her, you will get her back soon, we will get her back but you have to focus now."Lena nodded quickly:"Yes yes i know Alex i am sorry" she whispered back.

Then she saw the reason why Alex just stopped walking,they were hidden in the bushes but not 20 meters away was a big rock with a huge Iron door in front of it.Some Reign members stood there with their swords to protect the entrance.It was a cave, a huge cave.No not only huge, giant.It must have had enough space to give whole National city a home and more.

"Wooooow that is ...special"Alex was speechless, she never saw something like that before.Her mouth was wide opened and Lena saw how she already thought about tactics to sneak in or when National Citys fighters arrive how to attack in the best way.Lena only felt a huge anxiouty, Kara was in this cave the whole time, never saw the sun or breath fresh air.And so did Lexi.She hated herself for still caring about her sister,it was not her mind more like a reflex, she was her big sister,she had to protect Lexi.

When she thought about her sister it was always a rollercoaster of feelings.This one small part of her still saw her as small Lexi,the sister that she protected her whole life.Her young innocent face,her voice when she tried to be strong but Lena exactly know she was scared.

And then the other side,Lexi smiling cruel at her, calling her love disgusting.Amusement as she killed Ruby.The yellow glance in her eyes.

she hated and feared this person as her worst enemy

Nothing easy to deal with.And Lena still not knew what to do.She felt like she needed to end this all and she feared what she will have to do to end it.Would she be able to take this life away,the life that she protected her whole life?

The answer feared Lena but yeah, she would be able to.If she needed to do this to save Kara,she would do it.And it scared the hell out of her.Alex laid her hand on Lenas shoulder and it gave her new energie. She can choose her family and she chose wisely.She chose Alex and she chose Sam and Ruby and god,even Winn.All of them were her family now,her people.And then she chose her home,which is Kara.And it will always be her.She never felt love before and she is sure that Kara will be her one and only love.She never believed in soulmates or destiny,she not even believed in love in general.Kara had proven her wrong in all points.Maybe calling it soulmate sounds like it was a freaking teenie romance book,but it was true,100 percent.Her whole self found a home.

And with that thought in her mind,she and Alex started to plan.

Kara

The pain left and she felt diffrent.She was in an appartment with ...Lexi was the name if she was right and an older lady.There were some guards but they left the room soon.They werent needed anymore.She remebered most of the things that happend before but it was diffrent,she stopped caring about it.She questioned herself about why she wanted to protect this Lexi again,she seemed weak to her now.She also waited for any orders because she really didnt care about anything right now and the woman smiled."Zor El,i have a first task for you." Zor El was her probably but somehow she prefered Kara.She nodded,ready for what ever she should do.

"Go and prepare for a fight, in 10 mins we will expect you to be in the training arena,choose your weapon wisely" and Kara left the room without a word.

Now Lexi and the lady were alone."So can you do it fast then?" Lexi said to the woman,knowing her time came.Somehow she was really not afraid,she felt as if her 18 years already were 90 and was tired.She deserved dead,thats for sure.

But the woman only shook her head."I am not the person who will do it,you have a chance to survive tho." Lexi was confused but she didnt question it, if she would die she would die and if not,she would try to save Kara or at least warn the people of National City....If they would listen to her.What Lexi actually doubt

The woman gave her a simple sword,nothing more,nothing less.Lexi thought about fighting to death but the woman already knew what she thought of."Dont even think about it, my men will kill you that fast that you wont even notice." And with that words she felt a dagger softly touching her back,always ready to end this.

She led Lexi to the training arena and Lexi slowly realized what that have to mean."I am not gonna do that, no.You cant bring me to fight against her now.I wont do it, i would rather die just right now.I hurt her enough for a whole life time ,no not again.You can forget about that."

"Well then this wont be a fight,it will be your funeral.Goodbye Lexi Luthor,you were really helpful for our plan, really sad that it has to end this way."

And with that words they threw her into the arena that was surrounded by a lot of people.Screaming and yelling.Lexi stood alone in the arena,alone helpless and lost.

Kara entered the arena.
