Chapter 18

Lena

On the next morning Alex informed the citizents about what happend last night.Lena was not there,Alex made a great job in leading them all she was kind and strong in the same time.That is probably what James meant with weakness but Lena only saw strenght in this way to treat people.The truth is you have to be soft to be strong.And Alex was both,she was a mum in all ways imaginable,a mum for a whole city.She was strong enough to keep them in the right way but always had a ways to listen to their problems too.

She started her speech:"Dear people of National City, i have some bad news for you.We have a traitor in our rows..." The crowd started to get nervous,looking at each other with scepticism.

But Alex calmed them down slow:"We already caught the mole, dont worry.And also we will use him to get information about Zor Els location which means we are supposed to find her soon."

Some older man asked:"Havent you said you knew it already yesterday?What does this mean?"

"I said it to trick the mole which was successful, it was our guard James and his betrayal hurt bad.But sometimes people are not who they look like for the first time.Sometimes bad people use our trust against us and that is one of the worst feelings we can experience.But now i am standing here and i have to trust every single one of you.

Will you stand by my side?"

"Yes!"

Are you determind to fight for your own will and for your city with all you have?

"YES"

 Is ther someone who thinks they deserve a real leader? Anyone who thinks that taking our beloveds away from us was there right?

"NOO!"

Do you have the will to safe Zor El, by your own because she protected us all so many years? WILL WE SAFE OUR LEADER?"

"WE WILL!"

WILL WE GET REVENGE FOR A SMALL INNOCENT GIRL THEY MURDERED?!

"YESSS! FOR ZOR-EL... FOR RUUUUBYYY!!!"

And Alex looked at the crowd she was proud to be part of this,proud to have a small group of people that showed the best of the human nature.And while lookin through the crowd she saw a familiar brownhaired boy walking through her.It was the boy from the funeral,Liam.

"Hey little one, what can i do for you?" She smiled at him and felt this urge to protect him too.He reminded her of Ruby and Alex directly saw why they got along that good.He was the strenght to Rubys wisdom and they really worked as a team together.Alex saw them growing up together in her inner eye.It would have been great for both of them.

The boy shyly looked down and started to mumble:"I-I wanted to come with you?Miss Danvers please i want to help,i am not a child anymore,i am old enough to help."

Alex sobbed, her admiration and sympathy for this boy came over her, but he should not fight,he wasnt even 10 years old.He would get hurt and Alex would never get over it,so she needed a plan to let him here without letting him know she think he is to young."Hey Liam we could really need your help,but you are more important then a normal solider,ok?

He looked aound and his chest stand out in pride."What exercise is it?"Alex cant hold herself from touching the boys hair softley." You need to stay here and protect our home Liam,can you do that?It is really important that we can come back in a safe home when we freed my sister."

The boy nodded as he felt really important and proud.Alex looked around and saw Winn nodding at her.He overheared the conversation and was ready to "help" Liam to protect the city.You could see the relief on her face from miles. Then Alex made her way to Lena.
