Dawn came, and George found himself stood by the milking Parlour in a mass of perplexing confusion, a vixen fox stood next to him, seemingly oblivious to the fact he was a Werewolf, water seemed to be coming from his eyes, and he was whimpering and whilst this happened, he slowly changed back to his human form. The tears were now very evident, and the whimpering became crying the vixen began to lick his leg and he realised he was naked, so picked up an old grain sack, covered himself up and ran furtively toward the farm house.
Jumping to the first floor of the farm house and into his room presented him with no problems what so ever. He quickly dressed and headed down to the kitchen, as he entered the smell of baking in the air, his mother turned and immediately said, "morning my son", morning boy" his father added
"good morning" he replied, "are you ok?" his mother asked, "you look really pale"
at this he quickly replied, "no mother I'm fine" and as he did, his legs turned to jelly, and he collapsed. When he woke, he was back in his bed, both his parents looking on. "I think you will be resting today boy" said his father and he turned to head toward the door "I must get the Cows milked" he continued, "rest well and recover fast" he ended as he left the room. George drifted in to a deep but restless sleep, his mother sat on the edge of the bed stroking his farrowed brow. "Rest now my son rest, now" his mother said.
As George slept the white Angel appeared to him again, "ah good day young George, I see you claimed your first Vampire" said Daryus in a congratulatory voice. "But do tell me why the female Vampire scared you off?" Daryus asked quizzically.
"SHE WAS......it WAS FEMALE", George retorted exasperation overtaking him "and I couldn't bring myself to attack a woman, no matter how evil they maybe" George lied in reply. "Ah a gentleman to the last, but you will need to be less so George" responded Daryus in a more sombre tone than usual. "Ruby Cobb is no more, and you must, put her from your mind if you don't her memory will prevent you from doing God's work and protecting mankind, remember George" continued the Angel Darius, not unsympathetic to George's plight "a Vampire is a Vampire and an agent of evil" he paused for effect "female or not they will not praise you for your gallantry, they will kill you" said Daryus with a tutorial essence about him.
3 nights of the moon cycle past, and George had no more Vampire battles or any further sighting of the female Vampire, On the 4th night, he returned to the cemetery even though the moon was not out, and he did not have the power of the wolf to hand, he felt he had to return. Even in his human form as before the changes he still possessed his sharpened senses and increased strength, as he walked through the cemetery, the Witch with the warm strawberry red hair, and eyes of a vibrant emerald green stepped out from behind a headstone, "ah human" she retorted sarcastically "you must be one of those humans who is foolish enough to think that they are safe walking around after dark or do you stupidly believe that you have any kind of chance in a fight with a Vampire?" she asked with superiority emanating from her, casting a spell in his direction that was designed to freeze him to the spot "come my mistress I have a gift for you, now that lord Drakon has gone, we can complete your rebirth." The Witch said with a definite sarcastic edge.
"Please encourage your mistress Witch, she will no doubt inform you, that I am no more human than she is." George retorted with anger in his voice the courage of his conviction and exuding both confidence and fortitude, as he stepped out of the shadows stepped the she Vampire "he is right, he is no human are you George" she said with an air of nervous resolution. "How do you know my Mistress"? The Witch asked looking between them both bathed in utter confusion.
"And how do you know him my mistress?" again, she asked with a perplexing look, "I can smell him, he is a Werewolf and," she paused looking longingly, and apologetically at George. "he is also......... the love of my life" she finished, fixing her eyes on his. George drew in his breath silently knowing in his heart that he had been right in the beginning, and that despite trying to convince himself that when he saw her again, that because she was now a Vampire, ending her would be easy. Now however as he looked upon her again, he was convinced that, that was never ever going to happen. The feelings of love he had once had for her, swelled within him touching every part of him and were still very much alive, even if she... was not. "Hello Ruby, I have missed you so much, I am so sorry I couldn't save you, you need to know that I have spent every minute since your...." George paused trying to search out a different word "your passing, just thinking of you, missing you, yearning for you" he finished tentatively and quietly, an apologetic tone to his voice, returning the stare without blinking.
