"If this means I can avenge my Ruby's death then I would willingly give over my body to the lord" George said. with increased vigour.

The Angel Darius looked at George with passive serenity, & a little concern, raising a bushy grey eyebrow as he spoke and then said, "The lord our father, would not entertain the idea of vengeance, so that would not be acceptable, an eye for an eye are the words of man not the lord Gods," Darius concluded looking at George with sudden serious concern on his face

"oh, then forgive me, revenge is maybe the wrong word" said George clearly having a rapid rethink. "I've spent the last 5 years fighting off these demonic beings, all I want is a chance to even the odds a bit, Ruby's death was just a catalyst" George added.

"Now that's a much better reason" said Darius relaxing slightly. "So once again I ask, are you willing to make the gift of your body and soul to our lord?" Darius asked.

"To keep this evil at bay, then yes I am more than willing to give my body and soul to you" George answered.

"Not to me, young George but to the lord our God" Darius corrected.

"Once again, please forgive me, I mean no disrespect, then yes, I freely give my body and soul to the lord God, but what exactly will it mean?" George asked once again with a puzzled look over his face. Darius moved closer and in an almost conspiratorial but calming whisper said "As you know the Vampire cannot go into day light and contrary to popular misconception the Vampire does not use Werewolves to guard them during the day" Darius paused

"To explain fully requires a good deal of time so I will return to you again in your dreams on the morrow." Darius said and faded away, George awoke and once again his mornings work was done without much other thought save that of his dreams.

It being Sunday after the morning start the family all attended Mass. At which farther Berisford gave a rousing sermon loaded with passion and references about Angels of God, and how they are always there doing the work of the lord even if we cannot see them.

Following the service the locals all began to make their way out of the church, the priest whilst performing his customary 'meet the congregation' was constantly distracted, and watching them all with knowing eyes, George turned to his farther, "Please sir I did not sleep well, last night so I could do with some more sleep, I would like to take to my bed for the day if you would allow me?" he asked.

His mother Arabella put her hand on Georges forehead, "It would appear he is carrying a fever Harris" she said looking at her son with concern his farther looked at him, thought for a while, and said "Well your no good to me if you take ill boy so take to your bed, and beat this affliction.

before they headed for the farm first George sort private counsel with farther Berisford, and told him that he had excepted God's offer, and in return farther Berisford told George of the white Angel Darius's visit, and that the Angel had asked him to provide spiritual guidance and support for George's family, leaving out the fact that George had a son. It was a comfort to his mother to see him talk with the priest. Then they all returned home to the farm house and George took to his bed and it was not long before he was once again in the company of the white Angel. "You be mindful young George, impetuosity may cut short your new beginnings" Darius stated firmly. "I know but surely the quicker I know, the quicker I can vanquish evil" George replied eager to learn more.

"Knowledge is indeed power, but knowing of the lord almighty's gift to you will not give you anymore advantage," the Angel Darius began, "whilst evil will always endeavour to seek out goodness, evil is forever attracted to evil, that will always be the way of things and, whilst our lords hope is for mankind to always seek out the goodness of things" Darius continued, "unfortunately that is not always to be, since giving humankind the freedom of choice it has been laid out that the one can never exist without the other." Darius paused, as he seemed to be momentarily selecting the right words. "If you choose this way, then as the lord sees it, the only way is to meet evil with an equitable force, now there is no such thing as a hell hound, dogs are after all considered as mankind's best friend, and the most powerful dog is the wolf." Darius concluded.
