The day after the full moon was always the worst, it felt like the world's biggest hangover. Your bones ache, your lips are covered in cuts from the fangs. Images of you destroying and attacking innocent people run through your head all day. At times it's almost worse than the transformation.

By the time Lyndsey was back to her human form she found Klaus screaming in frustration, he was surrounded by dead hybrids. Something had been wrong and both her and Stefan had an idea of what was holding him back.

She didn't know what to say to Klaus in his state of defeat, he was confusing to her. Lynn had read countless stories about him yet she still couldn't figure out what was going on in his mind. At times all she wanted to do was insult him but at the same time, she felt for him.

The group was currently wandering the streets of Chicago waiting for Rebekah to wake up from a deep slumber. It turned out she seemed to be the only way to solve the hybrid problem. Lyndsey was conflicted by the thought of meeting another original, considering she was told all the siblings were off travelling with Elijah.

Telling Lynn that Elijah had in fact not forgotten her, that all these months she spent feeling upset that she meant nothing in his eyes, he was really laid in a coffin rotting because of his own brother. Lyndsey refused to speak to the Hybrid, he had lied to her again and this time she broke.

"This doesn't make any sense. Why don't I remember you?"

The last 6 hours had consisted of Klaus exposing his secret past with Stefan, finding out that they had in fact been friends much before now. The entire journey to the warehouse where Rebekah lied was full of questions asked by Stefan, and vague or non-existent answers on Klaus's behalf. Lyndsey had barely listened, not interested in their past life, she stayed behind the two boys zoned out just trying to keep up with their pace.

"You said it yourself" the hybrid shrugged at the overly annoyed vampire, "that time had a lot of dark holes."

The vaguer of an answer he got, the more Stefan grew frustrated "No if you knew me, then why haven't you said anything?"

Klaus rolled his eyes, "I'm a little busy right now." He disregarded all the questions. "Memory Lane will have to wait."

Then Stefan snapped, finally losing his temper on Klaus. He gained a grip on the Hybrids arm causing him to come to an abrupt stop and facing the angry vampire. "What the hell is going on? Answer me." Stefan yelled, demanding the truth.

"Let's just say we didn't get off to a brilliant start. To be honest, I hated you." Klaus admitted to his so-called old friend.

Klaus began to explain the trio's past in the 1920s, Lyndsey was intrigued by the story she knew so much about the Mikaelson's but never got to hear Klaus's side of the story.  It was now known that Stefan had been dating Rebekah Mikaelson, and the two over masculine men got in a bit of a spat between the youngest original.
