"We need to talk, Lyndsey." Her brother's voice seemed more stern than usual, it was not the kind of sibling love she was used to.

Will took a deep breath out before handing a book to the young girl, "This is a journal I found going through dad's old things..."

"Old book, great gift Will." She rolled her eyes throwing it into her bed, before sitting down

"No Lyndsey, it's important. We all know the Rivers Werewolf curse is different.." she nodded showing her older brother she understood completely.

He took a seat beside his little sister, she could see this concern in his eyes that made her nervous. "Well it's more than just Blue eyes. Dad never triggered the curse so he didn't know but our grandfather Oscar who died young did."

"Will get to the point." She grew annoyed

"We aren't normal, okay there are abilities we had no idea about. History that was lost between him and us, but this journal has everything." There was a glint of worry in her brother's eyes.

"Fine I'll read it.." she gave into his suggestions knowing that it would make him overly happy if she did.

Will nodded in satisfaction before turning their conversation elsewhere, "So Caroline knows... and is a Vampire, how-"

"Risky, Annoying, Not fun, Unfortunate" Lynn interrupted naming all the things that made her undead cousin's situation horrible. "I'm scared to hurt her.."

Her voice was quiet and vulnerable, the broken little girl she tried so hard to hide was starting to peek through. "Oh bean." He wrapped his arm around his young sister.

"I know, it's not an ideal situation. It sucks to be honest but we will do everything to make sure you don't." He tried his best to comfort the little wolf.
"The vampires they all know Will, I couldn't keep it hidden my eyes started flashing when I got angry." She explained in embarrassment, William had done
everything he could to help her hide it.

"Maybe it's better this way, it might keep you safer." He said hopefully, Will looked at his little sister and saw someone he didn't recognize.

She had changed so much, the stress was visible on her face there was no longer that smirk of sarcasm, she looked destroyed.

"Yeah, yeah maybe." She whispered,
