Aizawa sighed as he walked to the fridge for some fruit punch.
~
The morning, Aizawa decided to visit the market for some food stock or to be specific; instant ramen and fruit punch stock. He starts the car, then off he goes-passing the same old streets he's been passing for over a decade now. After the incident, he had to adjust to go places driving a car since he don't have the same speed he used to-not with the prosthetic leg he's using-not that he tried.
He pulled over and parked the car, walked straight into the market. With his all-black attire, other than he didn't have his binding clothes hanging upon his neck, he looks not so much different from his hero figure. A few kids seem to recognize him, but he walked away as casually as he always is.
Just by the rack where all the instant ramen are located, Aizawa saw a figure-someone he notice, someone he didn't like being around with so much. But for the mean time, he stayed there. Some parts of him wishing the woman with sea-green hair would notice who she is, at least after the confusing message he received last night-the one she didn't reply to.
It's unlike Joke to be so indifferent to her surroundings. "Joke," he muttered, loud enough for her to hear. Emi turned her face facing Aizawa's, not in her casual happy looks, but she managed to say the exact same thing Aizawa thought she would. "Hey Er-" she stopped as she knew Aizawa wouldn't like her calling him with his hero name, "-Aizawa," she said, "Nice to meet you." Well, that isn't exactly what the former hero thought she would say, but that does the job-or not.
Aizawa notice eye bags under Emi's eyes, not the ones he's used to seeing. It's almost like she's been drunk for a whole week or something. She didn't have when she visited his house. Have she been sleeping? As Aizawa randomly grabbed some instant ramen and put it into his trolley, the corner of his eyes glanced at Emi who's having a hard time deciding which soy sauce she'd like to buy out of the two in her hands-typical Aquarius.
"Joke," he called again. "Yeah?" she replied. "I'm sorry I kicked you out the other day," she raised an eyebrow, confused. She giggled, "What?" Now that she look more like Ms. Joke, Aizawa felt a relief in his chest. "You don't look like you," he muttered, she stared at him slightly shocked. She raised an eyebrow as she faked a smile, "I didn't know you were watching me so much, Aizawa." Her chest hurt from smiling so much, also it's strange to call Aizawa by his name. She thought she won't ever get used to calling him that. But it's no big deal-it's not like they're going to talk very much. Aizawa rolled his eyes as the same old Ms. Joke's joke came back like jet annoying his so-hoped-beautiful day.
"Whatever," he said. By now Emi knew Aizawa was annoyed, and unlike most times, she stopped talking after a single tease. "Have you been sleeping OK?" he asked, slightly worried. She nodded with a slight smile forming on her pale face. "Yes actually, what about you?" she lied. Have I mention, she didn't wear the hero costume she's obsessed with? Instead, she had pastel color sleeveless shirt with dark colored denim pants.
Aizawa sense her lying, she's bad at it. It's too obvious that she haven't been sleeping so much if not at all. "If you're not busy, do you want to catch up some coffee?" he asked, slightly biting his lip hoping for an expected reply. She smiled, then nodded. "Are you flirting with me," she teased, "-Aizawa?"
