Emi forced Aizawa to curl his arm around her neck as they walk up the stairs to help him. He refused but knew there's nothing much he can do at the moment. The five story climb felt like eternal with his leg messed up. Also, he's pretty sure Emi's pretty worn out by now. In spite, she managed a cheer, "Can you still walk or do you want me to carry you, Eraserhead?" Aizawa rolled his eyes. "Whatever, Joke." Emi chuckled.
As they reached Aizawa's room, Aizawa said, "The key, it's in the car key." Emi grinned. "What?" Aizawa squinted his eyes. "See, it's destiny," Emi replied, "if I leave with your car earlier you'll get locked out of your own apartment." Aizawa rolled his eyes-she's right though, he didn't thought that much.
As soon as they entered, Aizawa rest himself on the couch and turned the TV on. He leaned to the backrest and lift his leg on the table as he clicked on the remote to pick a channel-ended up watching a basketball tournament. From the other side of the apartment, Emi shouted, "Where's the first-aid kit?"
"You're not using it-"
"Found it!" Aizawa sighed.
Emi sat beside Aizawa while opening the first-aid kit which had never been used. She placed the box on the table before her. Emi gently opened the bandages covering Aizawa's injured calf-he slightly flinched. "You can watch basketball as I do you a baby surgery," she grinned, "tell me if it hurts too much although I promise to be careful." Aizawa rolled his eyes at Emi treating him like a baby.
The bandages are off by the time Emi picked an alcohol from the kit to clean it up. She twisted the bottle cap and took a cotton. "I'll give you a candy if you don't flinch so please don't," she said, "although I'll still hug you if you cry, just don't flinch." Aizawa rolled his eyes, "Can't you just do it?" Emi chuckled as she carefully pour a safe amount of alcohol to the cotton.
His eyes locked to the basketball tournament when Emi stroked the cotton against Aizawa's bleeding calf. He flinched. "Shh...sorry," she muttered as she proceed. Aizawa gazed at Emi with the corner of his eyes for a brief moment then turned back to the tournament.
After a little while, Emi carefully wrapped his calf back with new bandages-neatly this time. "And, we're all done!" She genuinely smiled as she stared at her so called Masterpiece. "Thankyou," Aizawa awkwardly replied.
Emi leaned her back next to Aizawa as she too stared at the tournament-not that she understand anything about basketball. "You're into this thing?" she asked. Aizawa raised his shoulder, "Not really, I was though." Emi nodded in understanding-not willing to ask more about something she have no clue of.
"You wanna watch a movie?" asked Aizawa as his preferred team lost the game. Emi raised an eyebrow as she turned her gaze at him, "If by movie you meant the moon, then no." Aizawa chuckled, "Well, I mean real movies but that's not a bad idea."
"Real movie it is," she replied.
A sudden knock appears from the main door. "I'll get it," Emi uttered as she walked towards the door.
"Emi, I didn't expect you to be here," said Hizashi overjoyed that even Aizawa can hear him, "I was just going to check on Shota." Aizawa rolled his eyes as the blonde man walked in sitting in Emi's spot on the couch. Emi seems delighted as she sat next to Hizashi, at the end of the relatively long couch.
"Whoah, you're OK man?" asked Hizashi as he saw Aizawa's leg bandaged on the table. Aizawa rolled his eyes. "He will be," Emi grinned, "with my surgical skills." Hizashi's eyes widen, "You did that? I didn't know you're so good at it." Emi seems flattered, Aizawa ignored them both and continue to stare at the basketball tournament he hated.
