Ryan got up from his seat and whispered into Hana's ear, "I'll be back. Wish me luck." He winked at her, and she smiled back, waving.

Coach Tang and Nicole's wedding had already begun. The introductions and greetings of the guests were finished, the vows were said and done, and the cake was cut. Now, it was the wedding reception, and everyone was gathered in a huge and long room.

At a table, Hana was seated with Hailey, Seth, Lucas, and Ryan. Just a table behind them sat Logan, Alisha, Jake, and Sylvia. When she and Lucas arrived with Ryan—contrary to her, she had thought Logan would question her, but he didn't—and Logan arrived with Alisha, both Logan's and Hana's friends cheerfully greeted them. But when they caught signs of his annoyance, they realized something had happened between the two ex-virtual couple.

Hailey leaned in from the opposite end of the table toward Hana. "Where's Ryan heading to?"

"His usual," answered Hana. "To get the numbers of all the girls he can."

"So, he'll be gone for long then."

"Yep."

Hailey said to Lucas, "Lucas, can you do Aunt Hailey a favor?"

Lucas perked up.

"Can you get me some brownies?"

Seth jumped into the conversation, taken aback at his girlfriend asking a little child to do such a trivial thing. "I can get it."

She glared at him and then at Hana when Hana was about to say something. She softened her expression and repeated her favor to the little boy.

The innocent and obedient Lucas smiled at his aunt. "Okay." He hopped off his seat and walked away.

"Don't go anywhere, okay?" Hana cautioned him. He couldn't be kidnapped, but for a chapel this huge, there was a big possibility her son could get lost. Once her son was out of sight, she sighed.

"Hana," Hailey began again. "What happened?"

Before Hana could explain, someone sat beside her. It was a grown man but not Ryan.

"Oh, I don't know," said Logan, speaking sarcastically to Hailey while avoiding Hana's gaze. "I'm sure I've asked a specific someone to be my date, but I'm somehow someone else's instead."

Hana swiftly looked at the table behind her and saw Jake and Sylvia busily conversing with Alisha. Maybe she could clear things up now. "Logan, I—"

"Hey, Lucas Jr." Ryan popped out from nowhere and jokingly called Logan that name because Logan was sitting on Lucas's spot. "My, how you've grown. Well, I guess I still got game." He flashed a smile and showed his phone's contact information, which showed a whopping number of two-hundred and twenty-two. "By the way," he said to Hana as he put his cell phone away, "Hugo called me just now because he couldn't reach you, and he wants me to tell you that he'll arrive in an hour or so."

"My phone died because Lucas was using it earlier," said Hana. "But thanks for the message."

"Come steal me when you're ready to leave."

"Yeah."

Once again, Ryan went back to do what he was doing.

"Even if you were going to make me your driver," said Logan, "I wouldn't say anything. I wouldn't even be against it at all. You also didn't have to lie to me to hook me up with Alisha."

"You, what?" Seth and Hailey questioned together to Hana. They didn't think their friend would do something like that.

"Exactly. She's trying to push me away. Talk some sense into her, Hailey."
