Thanks to the promiscuous female student, the gang didn't get to spend quality time together since Logan wasn't available. They decided to pick up Lucas and hang out at the virtual family's residence. After two hours of their fun, everyone went home, leaving Hana and Lucas to themselves.
Since she had finished her homework, she cleaned up the place. Her phone vibrated, and she halted cleaning to check it. It was a text from Victor giving her the time and place for their upcoming Valentine's date. She had completely forgotten about it because something else was on her mind.
Logan.
It was almost seven, and he hadn't come home.
She wondered where he was with the busty girl and what they were doing. Would they continue where they left off? Would he spend a night with her?
She was irritated.
And worried.
She sent a quick reply to Victor and sat on the couch. She watched her son play with his toys on the ground in front of her. She needed to keep her mind off unnecessary things, so she turned on the TV.
Soon, the peacefulness hit her. There was no Logan with her to share the blanket. There was no Logan's shoulder to rest on. There was no Logan to bicker about changing the channels. She turned around and looked at the dark kitchen and stairway. Would the house have been this silent if Logan wasn't here? Would this have been the way she'd live if Logan wasn't with her?
Was it going to be this lonely without Logan?
The last realization stabbed her heart. She became fearful of it.
Fearful of losing Logan.
The sounds of Lucas's toys momentarily brought her back to reality where she knew Logan was really with her. She walked to her son and watched him play with his toys, banging them together.
"Lucas, he won't leave me, right?"
And Lucas smiled to her, giving her assurance.

Hana tossed and turned in her bed. It was already two in the morning, and Logan wasn't home. Facing Lucas, she remembered the small talk she had with him.
"Lucas, he won't leave me, right?"
Terrified of what she had asked Lucas and understanding its meaning, she hated herself for wanting to trap Logan with her when she was the one who wanted to keep Lucas in the first place.
If Logan wants to date and be with someone, I have no right to care. It's none of my business, and it's better if it's this way.
Still looking at Lucas and then catching how spacious his other side was, she had another painful realization. Was the bed always this big? Sure, it was only about two weeks since the entire virtual family had been sleeping on the same bed, but it felt weird not seeing Logan on the opposite side of Lucas. She laughed to herself. If she told Logan of this, he'd be mad at her for implying that he was a big man.
Her cell phone vibrated, and she checked.
It was a text from Logan.
She jolted up and read the text hastily. Finding herself unlike before, she composed herself, pretending to not care whether he texted her.
Logan: Are you staying up and waiting for me? Loser! How's Lucas? Is he asleep already? I'll be home later. See you in the morning. sent @ 2:17 a.m.
Hana was about to text back but stopped herself because if she were to text back, it'd tell Logan that she was waiting for him, and she didn't want him to know that. If he did, he'd make a big fuss about it, teasing about how she missed him and whatnot. But regardless of it, Hana couldn't help but feel relieved. But more than relieved, she was happy that he texted her. Even if he didn't text her about where he was, what he did, or what happened, his genuine text was enough to move her heart, assuring her.
