A week after all the college application pressure, the first semester finally came to an end, and summer vacation had finally arrived, and that meant it was time for the summer wedding of the Guilles. The gang had slept over at Hailey's place, so they could leave together to not risk the possibility of being late. Not only were they the bridesmaids and the groomsmen of the bride and the groom, but they also had the responsibilities of welcoming the guests and making them feel comfortable for the first half, and then participating in the wedding in the second half.

Due to Hailey's impatience and excitement, the gang arrived on time—two hours earlier. Much to their dismay, they had thought that the ship they'd be cruising on would be an up-to-date ship that was glossy and new and wonderful looking. Instead, the exterior design of huge and large white sails and golden brown, dust-colors made the ship looked like a wrecked pirate ship of some sort. Can it be trusted? was what went through the teens' heads as they boarded onto the ship.

Due to their early arrival, they helped around, making sure decorations stayed in its place, ensured that rooms had been cleaned thoroughly, and of course, Logan and Hana spent their last thirty minutes with Lucas in the big room for the children before they'd be put to work. The gang's primary duty was to greet friends and family—although they knew no other family members were coming and had not seen one—and giving and answering information regarding sleeping, eating, and the wedding. They also had to work in pairs, and each had their own task: Hailey and Seth's was to hand out small gifts and refreshments at the entrance; Sylvia and Jake's was to mark off the names of the guests on a list; and lastly, Hana and Logan's was to show the guests the way to the promenade deck, which was the place where the guests would be entertained before the newlywed's arrival.

Once most of the guests on the list had been checked off, the teens knew it was time for their next duty—to notify the captain to set out the plank and inform the Guilles to mark their entrance. The couple had been hiding in a building from across the visible port, only to make their appearance when it was time.

Exactly at five o'clock, a loud and roaring horn sound from the sun deck was heard, and through a blow horn, the Captain said clearly and slowly for everyone to hear, "Please align yourself safely at your right to welcome...our enchanting couple, Mr. and Mrs. Guilles!"

At this time, the guests made their way to their right, crowding and clustering around one another to get the view of what the Captain had said. Below them and from a distance was a huge metal, black plank pressed. From atop to down the sides of the plank, with a few distances in between, stood the teen couples.

The males' attire consisted of navy blue, three-buttoned, long-sleeved coat that surpassed the waist. The pants were regular black slacks that the boys wore from their arrival. It similarly followed the fashion for the British Queen's guards' royal clothing. As for the females', they were no different too. To couple up with their male counterpart, they were elegantly dolled up in various one-shoulder, knee-length dresses.

Sylvia had on a coffee-colored, knee-length dress with a bow tied at the top where her only shoulder strap was at. Along her small and tiny waist was a thin silver stomach belt. Although it may seem like a bland dress, the color and the simplicity of it made it more attractive than it seemed. But hers wasn't the only simple one.

Hana had on a simple dress too. Her satin café-latte, knee-length dress had minimal decorations—at her waist was a floral band at her side. There were subtle, decorative fabric lines that helped boost the small-sized bust of hers—thanks to the fact that she's wearing a push-up bra.

For Hailey, her espresso-colored dress was much more decorative, matching up to her tastes and personality. Her dress made her look much curvier, thanks to the excessive ruffles. The aligned roses sown around the neckline and shoulder lines of her dress brought out her smile even more, and lastly but most definitely not the least, the two different fabrics—cotton on the waistline and up, and silk on the rest—allowed her dress to move along with the wind, furthering her exterior beauty.
