Because Cyrus was back at work, Lucas's photo-shoot resumed, so Hana and Lucas had been at the photo-shoot site since morning, doing rounds of clothes-changing and going over the theme countless times to ensure that everything was right. The photo-shoot would've been finished three hours ago had it not been for Cyrus—a new father—calling his wife every other fifteen minutes to check up on his infant and then talking to his wife for thirty minutes.

So overtime was the situation they had come to.

"Are you tired, sweetie?" Hana asked Lucas, who was sitting on the seat beside her and munching on the snacks she had packed, and he confidently nodded. "You can tell me if you are, ok? You don't have to get it done in one day."

"I know."

"How are you holding up, little fella?" It was from Bruce, coming from behind Lucas.

Despite Hugo's asking Logan to pass Bruce in the interview, Logan was impressed at the descriptive and poised answers Bruce had given, persuading Logan that Bruce would make a great employee. Although Logan didn't want to admit it, he had taken a liking to the hardworking and responsible young man. Also, it was rare to find someone in their early twenties with plenty of work experience.

Although Bruce was supposed to be at Logan's company for the tour to learn of the regulations and policies, one of Cyrus's male staff had been sent home early for a minor accident while putting up a few displays for the photo-shoot, so with Bruce having familiarity with hard labor, Logan had tagged him along.

Bruce grabbed an unseated chair and pulled it over to sit across Hana, creating a triangle with her and Lucas. Without looking at her, since his arrival, he said to Lucas, "You have four more to go, so hang in there, Lucas."

"Okay," Lucas said with smiles. As soon as he finished eating, a staff member came and asked to take him to get changed, so he left with the staff, already comfortable with how things worked here, and waved goodbye to his mother and Bruce.

As soon as Lucas left, Bruce got up to do the same.

"Bruce," Hana hastily said his name, stopping him momentarily. "Can we talk?"

Logan had just arrived—again after leaving the photo-shoot site for a last-minute meeting—and was already on the search for Hana. During his search, he overheard plenty of staff grumbled about how long the photo-shoot was taking, making him worried about what his friend would say about overworking her son. After asking anyone about the whereabouts of his friend—because Lucas was currently getting his pictures professionally taken—and receiving no answer, he stopped the search and sat on the Director's chair.

Cyrus saw this, and he immediately halted the shoot and asked for another fifteen-minute break.

Logan figured he'd take this chance to follow or ask Lucas about his mother, but Cyrus demanded Logan to stay for a talk outside the building. The men took an exit from the back, and after Cyrus scoured the area for possible listeners and then announced the coast was clear, Cyrus gave Logan a twitching brow glare as he decreased the gap between them.

"What?" Logan disgustedly asked, backing away to the side and touching his face in case something on his face was the cause of his friend's weird expression.

"I've got two things I want to discuss with you, Logan."

"What?"

"First, you know that my chair belongs to me, and only Cyrus the Great can sit on it."

Logan rolled his eyes. This wasn't the first time he had heard it nor the first time it had happened. Throughout their partnership, he had witnessed multiple times when Cyrus had gone crazy at someone for mishandling the chair, and mishandling in Cyrus's terms was nothing near the actual definition of mishandling. And when Logan had accidentally sat down on the chair last time, Cyrus flipped and pulled Logan away for a personal talk and explained that the chair may be old and looked like any other chair, but to him, the chair was an important vintage object from a professional photographer he admired.
