Hana batted her eyes to the sound of the alarm. She turned to her right where she usually kept her phone on the small desk, but it wasn't from her phone. Instead, it was coming from her behind the sleeping Logan. She groaned and wondered how her friend could sleep through it. She tilted her head over and tried to reach for his phone in a cautious attempt to not wake him up.
While doing so, Logan shifted in his spot and rubbed his eyes and sat up.
It resulted in him smooching her cheek.
They immediately distanced themselves, and he turned off the alarm.
"Morning," she casually said, running her fingers through her hair.
He greeted her back and stretched. Then he flung his head back onto the soft pillow behind him.
"Logan, you better get ready now. We're leaving in an hour to Jake's."
"In thirty minutes."
"We still have to pack."
He covered his face with the blanket and turned away. "Get my shirts and pants, and put them with yours. I'm fine with whatever."
She sighed and pulled the blanket away. "Get up, Logan."
He whined, "I don't want to." He finally sat up.
She got off the bed and started to pack her stuff.
His stomach then growled. "Hana."
"Yeah?"
"Can you make breakfast first?"
She turned around with a glare. Like they had time for that.
He sent her a cheesy smile. "Please?" He rubbed his stomach. "I'm hungry. I'll pack."
"Fine, you big baby."

"Hey, guys!" Hana and Logan greeted their friends in front of Jake's house. They were the last to arrive. Even Sylvia was present.
Jake took a step back and looked Hana up and down. "Hana, I think you should stay away from us. You'll embarrass us."
She looked at herself. She had black sweatpants and a navy-blue sweater under a hooded blue jacket. She had on a beanie and gloves. "I was with Logan, and he didn't say anything."
Logan smirked. "That's 'cause they'll see that I'm the better lookin' one."
A bickering war between the friends had started until Sylvia asked an innocent question.
"You two live near each other?"
No one had told Sylvia of the situation about Lucas, but it wasn't about trust. It was about how they would bring it up especially after the gang had gone through great lengths to clarify that Hana and Logan were nothing more than friends.
"Same neighborhood," said Logan. "I went to pick up the lazy bum—"
"You're the lazy bum," interrupted Hana.
The friends continued their bickering about who was the lazy bum until Seth stopped them from their continued disturbances outside Jake's family's house.
The friends apologized to Jake, but Jake didn't mind.
Hana turned her attention to Sylvia. "Can I ask you for a favor?"
Sylvia nodded.
"Can you not mention my son to anyone? Not even to Coach?"
She nodded.
