It wasn't always like this. Where had I gone wrong? My father didn't want me, that was clear. I was no longer the 'Little Champion of L'Manburg'. Instead, that title had been given to the newest member, a girl called Sophie.

She had gotten everyone – every. single. person. – to replace me with her. To be honest, I was angry, jealous. Who wouldn't be? My own father – the current President of the nation I was born in – had replaced me with a nobody. Was this Wilbur's way of saying that I wasn't good enough? Or... was it his way of saying that I just wasn't what he wanted in his offspring? Clearly, Sophie was what he wanted and not me.

"Sophie!" I heard my old friend, Tubbo, laugh as the two ran around and had fun. Eret joined soon after, the trio passing me a moment later and didn't even say hi. Sure, they could have easily been too infatuated with their little game of chase, but was it too much to stop for a second and say hi? Clearly it was.

"Soph! Watch out!" Wilbur called as the brunette neared the edge of the water. Wilbur ran forwards, pulling her back and into his chest. Dang it, I thought as I watched the interaction, why couldn't she have just fallen? "C'mon, let's go inside. You're freezing, kiddo." The father-daughter duo then headed indoors, either not noticing or ignoring the fact that I was with them. Really, I hoped it was the former and not the latter, but at this point it was hard to see it being the former.

"Hm? Oh, hi Fundy!" Sophie greeted, turning around, and smiling at me. I just gave a tight-lipped smile before heading up to my room. I couldn't stay there with her a moment longer. I probably would have said something stupid. "Oh... Bye then, Fundy..."

As I collapsed onto my bed, my mind began to race. I felt bad, I really did. Maybe Sophie wasn't that bad of a person, but I just couldn't get the fact that she basically replaced me in everything out of my head.

"I'm sorry, Soph..." I whispered before drifting off to sleep.

It's been about two or so years now since Sophie had first turned up. And let me tell you, nothing has changed. If anything, it's gotten worse. Both regarding the Sophie situation and the fact that Wilbur and Tommy have been exiled from L'Manburg which has now been dubbed 'Manburg'. Stupid, I know. Anyway.

"Hey, Fundy!" Tubbo greeted, not even sparing me a glance as he sat next to me on a random bench someone had placed down. "Do you miss Wilbur?" That was a random question.

"Why are you asking?" I asked, not bothering to look in his direction. Tubbo properly shrugged since there was no verbal reply. "But to answer your question, Tubbo, no. I don't. I don't think I ever will."

"You don't miss your own father?!" Sophie's voice exclaimed, alerting us of her presence. Great, I thought as I rolled my eyes. "Fundy, he's your dad! He's... You should miss him! He's an amazing guy. I'm disappointed that I'm having to call you my brother at this point. It's like I'm the only one who misses him." with that, she walked off to go talk to Niki.

"You know, she has a point," Tubbo commented after a while.

"Look, I appreciate you coming to talk to me, Tubbo. But I could really care less whether Wilbur was here or not." I spat, before walking off to go farming. I know Tubbo didn't mean anything when he said that Sophie had a point. She did have a point, a very fair one, but I just didn't want to talk about that man right now. Or ever, to be honest. He replaced me, and nothing would ever change that.

Flash forward about three months and we're all fighting, now against Technoblade. Why did I have to fight my uncle of all people? Anyway. We had finished battling Techno for a bit when we were all wondering where Wilbur had gone. We had started searching for him when explosions rained from everywhere. Left, right, and centre.

Once they had calmed to a halt, we all looked to a little hole where Wilbur stood along with Philza. Suddenly, Phil turned and stabbed his son.

"Wilbur!" Sophie screamed, Niki holding her as she sobbed. The overpowering guilt could be seen on the blonde's face as he watched everyone panic. That's when it hit me.

Holy shit. My grandfather just killed my dad...

It's been a week since Wilbur had died at the hands of his own father. Turns out, Techno was the traitor. Yeah, we found that out by the Withers he set on all of us. There were at least two, if not three, of them. Heck, maybe even more!

"Do you think he'll come back?" Sophie's quite voice asked from in front of me. I looked forward and saw her kneeling in front of the grave we had made for the man, Tommy by her side. Said boy didn't answer. "I miss him." A shimmer of light caught my attention.

"I'm right here, My Little Champion," Wil's soft voice murmured as he manifested as a ghost next to the silently sobbing girl, an arm wrapped around her. "I'm right here." Tommy smiled, slipping away quietly whilst I just stood there, heart dropping to the floor and shattering.

And that's when it hit me full speed.

I've been replaced...
